Professor McVeigh's class had a fairly easy work load and was low stress. I enjoyed going to class, knowing that he would make me laugh at least once. He would also bring snacks when we had to learn about grammar. His lectures were interesting and engaging. Would definitely recommend.

Took his FYS on Germaness in American Pop Culture! Very easy class with a minimal work load. He made class interesting and worth going to. I'm not majoring in anything related to German but I would highly consider taking another class with him.

I really enjoyed Joe's class; I wish I could take another! He incorporates all kinds of facts about German culture and history into his language classes and he's great to talk to at Deutsche-tisch as well. He's not a very tough grader, his primary interest is that you learn.

Professor McVeigh is the best ever professor I've ever had! Never wanted to miss his class! He made them so much fun and it was so easy to learn German with him. And he's so helpful too. Thanks,Professor! P.S. I'd recommend his class to anyone! Wish he was here to take more classes with him! He's a FUN guy!

i never wanted to miss joe's class. he was fabulous! he always made class interesting and engaging. it's a lot to leran a new language but he doesn't make it overwhelming. you learn german and he makes it sooo much fun. highly, highly recommend him.
