had him for 1302 and there was 3 essays and a midterm, he did a great job keeping you focused during class by making it entertaining and made sure you understood the material. Do the readings beforehand! Each class we had a review of the material where he asked specific questions to aide discussion. Great English teacher!

Dr. Rollins is amazing!! unfortunately, my semester with him was cut short because of COVID-19 but the time I spent in his class was great! He expects you to read one or two readings a week and then talk about them in class. His lectures are great because he is funny! There are only 3 essays and then a take-home midterm and a final.

I dont rate professors usually but I had to let everyone know that Professor Rollins is one of my favorite professors Ive had. He was very helpful before Coronavirus and even more so during it. Cant say enough good things about him. Always willing to help and definitely knows what hes talking about

BY FAR BEST PROFESSOR AT LONESTAR!!! His lectures are hilarious, his assignments arent super challenging or tedious, hell let you revise your papers until you get an A and hell delete the old grade. theres about 4 papers all semester, and then a final. reading isnt too bad, gives great advice, would highly recommend taking this class!

Professor Rollins was a great professor! Though his lectures could go on for a too long he at least made it fun and entertaining. When he assigned papers he always handed it back with great feedback and plenty of time to make corrections for a better grade. If you want an easy A and a great professor, Rollins is the right choice.

Best professor at Lone Star BY FAR!! Gives amazing lectures, and if you dont quite get the grade you wanted on an essay, hell let you revise it as many times as you want until you get the grade you want, and make that your new grade. Very helpful and good at explaining assignments.

One of the best professors i have ever had! Working full time 12hrs and school is not a walk in the park, but Mr. Rollins gives us enough resources to prepare for our exams and to be successful. Just pay attention and study and you will do great!!!!!

Rollins is one of the best professors I have ever had!! In ENGL 1302 we had 3 papers, which were not very hard. He lets you revise them many times to achieve the grade that you want. Also, on the final he made it very easy!! !0/10 would recomend!!!!!

He is very funny and respected. I loved his class! He assigns 4 papers plus the final and lets you revise as many times as you need to get an A. I considered myself a terrible writer but he does not grade very hard and he helped me out a lot with becoming a better writer

Took him for 1301&1302 both times made an A. He gives you back your essays and you can revise and turn them in as many times as you want until you get the grade you want. You do have to read the textbook and discuss in class but it's really easy. Just pay attention and re-do your essays and you'll make a 100 no problem in his classes.

By far my favorite teacher at Lone Star, if you read what is assigned (even just spark notes) and participate in class discussion you'll pass with at least a B. He lets you redo the papers for a better grade. The only bad thing is that he takes forever to grade. Class is fun, he really cares about you as a student and makes things interesting.

Dr. Rollins is a great professor and truly has a love for British Literature, his lectures are based on the stories you'll read throughout the semester. You're only assigned 3 papers all semester which he grades quite generously and provides great feedback.
