He lectures alot, they're fun to listen to but WRITE it all down, his tests are HARD if you don't study, you WON'T pass. It's mult. choice and short answer. This class is not for the faint of heart. But he is very nice and a great teacher. I took him for honors history and loved it so much I took him again with regular history. Take notes! Readbook

Hard at first, but once you get in the rhythm of the class it is easy. Basically...MEMORIZE EVERYTHING HE SAYS!!! His lectures are interesting, but you have to write down absolutely everything. He also gives A LOT of extra credit, and usually has pretty big curves.

I'm usually good in History, but I wasn't ready for this class AT ALL! He's an okay teacher, but I couldn't stay interested. The tests were hard to me because it's all memory. MEMORIZE the notes from to back. If you have a good memory, then you'll be okay. If not, you're screwed. GOOD LUCK!

I took Dr. Storey's Tudor and Stewart England class....it was wonderful. I am not sure if he is offerign it. If so....sign up for it. He turns England and the monarchy into one big lust filled soap opera!

Dr. Storey is the best teacher I have ever had. He is fair and truly cares whether his students learn. He welcomes different opinions and encourages participation. He is very interesting and his book is actually reference work, which explains the footnote

This man has you read one of his own books for class that is highly unreadable, but highly footnoted. There is literally a footnot on all but three pages of his book. It is impossible to make a decent grade without being one of his pets. Eight tests

you either think his way or you are COMPLETELY wrong. And he also thinks the american revolutionists were ungrateful losers with no real reason other than to cause trouble.
