Professor Boyne primarily teaches high school Spanish and brought his enthusiasm to the Summer Spanish class. There is required online homework, but the professor actually reviews it and gives feedback. I am glad I took his class. This class was when I started to feel more comfortable speaking in Spanish.

Comment:

He is the most passionate and gifted educator I've encountered in my collegiate career. The class itself is extremely difficult. However, this is not his fault. Spanish is difficult in 8-weeks no matter who the professor is, but with his skill at teaching you'll find this to be the "easiest" this course can get.

Took him for both SPAN3&4 in 8WKS each. He is very nice and cares about what he teaches. Theres alot of hmwk, but it will help you. Do the (easy) extra credit for each chapter to help with test grades. You need to work hard, it is not an easy A. He is always super nice, and will help you if you are struggling. Made an A with him for both SPAN3&4.

Jon Boyne is cool. If a person is serious about learning to speak Spanish he is great. It is not an easy A, but totally doable if a person gives an effort. It is just not free. If youre serious about learning Spanish than this is the professor for you.

Jon is a great teacher. one thing thats really good is he has a great spanish accent. which is very elpful because then people learn the correct way of speaking. he is helpful even to the few who are having difficulty in the class. would and actually have recommended him

Mr. Boyne won't give you an easy "A", you MUST work to earn it. This may dissapoint some of the students that do not want to put a little bit of effort on the class. Excellent professor, patient, and willing to help students.

Mr. Boyne is an excellent teacher who cares about students. His class can be a little bit challenging, but that is the only way you can learn. Very punctual, willing to help students WHO WISH TO SUCCEED. Extremely fair with the grades. Explains everything in detail. He also tells you what he expects from the class. Will recomend this teacher.

Mr. Boyne is a great teacher and you will learn a lot about your subject. He is a very kind man and is very helpful. You will feel ok even if you ask many questions. He introduces music and videos into the class as well. I would recommend him to any student who wants to learn the material.
