She lectures all day everyday and the information is not all in the book, so take notes. 4 essay tests make up your grade, so study. She was not clear on how long she wanted out essay answers. One test she said they were too long, then the next test they were too short. However, they were the same length both times.

okay, her notes pretty much have nothing to do with the test. i never once opened my book in that class. your grade is based on 4 ESSAY exams... i recommend taking someone else.

I personally think her notes are misleading and confusing. Essays are difficult, so you will definitely need some perfect attendance. but overall I hate history and she makes me hate it even more!

When I first began the class I wasnot inspired by her. Her tests are completely written and will be difficult if you do not attend every class or pay attention to her lectures. I only studied to memorize specific dates but if you pay attention ad can write well you should be able to pass. Answer her questions and make sure she knows you.

Do not take this class if you cannot guarantee that you will be there every day. It is imperative to not miss one of her classes. I missed a couple and failed two tests as a result. Only four tests make up her class grade so I was left struggling throughout the rest of the semester.

Her lecture is all you need. Barely even touch my books for her class. No quiz or assignment in her class. Just test. Pass all the test and you pass her class. Her test are fairly easy as long as you study one week prior to here test and study 1-2 hours a day of memorizing.

She was very hard in my opinion. You won't do anything more than take notes. If that's how you learn, than you're in good shape. But personally I can't listen to someone talk for a hour and thirty minutes. She takes history VERY seriously, no joke!

I took her for every history class that she taught at JCC-SW. I love her. She teaches old school with an overhead projector. Keep good notes and attend class and you will be fine. Test can be a little hard but everything on the test is talked about in class. She may not be the easies teacher, but she is not the hardest either.

After taking the first test I was very worried bc I realized my entire grade depended on 4 tests. If you take good notes and listen you will do fine. I took History 105 and 108 from her and got an A in both. She is very sweet,very helpful, and you can tell she loves history. I highly recommend her!

I had her for his 108 and 109. I LOVED her, she is by far the best professor I've ever had. PAY ATTENTION. Take notes, and NEVER miss class. The class only consists of 4 tests which are ALL essays. Great class, if you love history, you'll love her.

LOVED her class, she obviously enjoys teaching it with a passion. She's very adamant about current as well as historical politics and affairs and how it ties in together so it's nice to see that perspective. I think she'd teach good in a politics class if only she weren't so biased and one-sided..

She likes to voice her political opinion(s) too much for my taste but she's a good teacher who really seems to care about the subject. Her exams usually consist of essay questions, so you better read that book and pay attention!
