Halfway through the semester I just stopped paying attention to what she was writing on the board and instead put my headphones on and read the book. I felt dumb and confused in her class and usually got C's and D's on the test. But since everyone else was even more confused than I was, they curved grading she used brought me up to a B. I'd avoid.

DO NOT TAKE HER! If you are a huge A student like I am..who put all their time and energy into studying DO NOT TAKE HER. I knew she wasn't that great but she went with my schedule. My advice, make a schedule that goes around not taking her. I got a B...but spent like 15 hrs a wk studying on my own. I went to ACE and everything. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!

Very smart lady but horrible teacher. She is all over the place. The exams have questions that were never covered and some questions are for no partial credit. READ THE BOOK! I survived by going to ACE and forming study groups with others. She does curve the tests. Good luck!

The way she explains information may be difficult but she will do her best to clarify the information. I had a hard time reading her handwriting sometimes. However, I do appreciate the curves she has on the tests.

She is not as horrible as some people are describing her. She doesn't demean people, however sometimes she doesn't understand what students are asking. Also, she can get confused as to what she is trying to teach. So, if you are in her class make sure to read the book and study, otherwise you might not fully understand what she's trying to teach.

literally the worst teacher i've ever had. never tells you when she's posted homework online, quizzes aren't current, and exam content is uncovered. please don't take her. i hope she learns to stay in the lab and out of the classroom. this class is most likely going to affect my otherwise fantastic GPA...

This is by far THE worst class I have ever taken. Its hard to understand her most of the time and when you do ask a question she degrades you and says "She doesnt have time for such questions." She cant teach, the homework isnt what you go over in class and quizzes are on material learned months ago. Do NOT take this class, run far, very far away.

If you want to pass this class, as others have said, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! This professor is absoultely horrible and she is easily the worst professor at UNF. She makes the simple material WAY too hard for others to understand and she does not go over the material well enough and then you have a quiz on it and half the class fails. STAY AWAY!!

This was the worst class I have ever taken. I am really good at Chemistry and this class was just a formality but I had to drop out. She made the material way to complicated and hard to follow. then she flat out told my class that she was not supposed to teach us, WE had to teach ourselves. Plus Mastering Chemistry is dumb.

I dont ever rate my professors but she is the worst i've ever had! Does not teach what so ever. DO NOT TAKE HER! she was a 376 dollar mistake because I had to withdraw. Dont read this and think "It's okay, I'm sure shes not that bad" PLEASE LISTEN TO ME AND DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!

Worst Professor I ever had. I don't care if professors are hard, BUT the fact that she would NOT excuse me for a test. I WENT TO THE E.R. AND HAD A DOCTOR'S NOTE(school policy).It even says it on her syllabus. I guess she was just lazy.She also did not give me partial cred for a 15 minute chem problem on a test just b/c I forgot to convert kg to g.

Organic chemistry is difficult. The professor only plays a minimal role in your success. It is really up to you to do the work and read the book. Pradhan really forces you to open the book and learn for yourself. She's great for those of you who are pre-med and will be taking the MCAT. She has a bad repupation but it's unjustified. Take her class.

Stay away if you can. Her exams are the worst I've taken in all of my time in school. No preparation at all by her part, you have to basically memorize the chapters b/c she tests on mechanisms, reactions, definitions, and theory. She also gives Pop Quizzes and Homework. However, she does curve 20+ points and I passed with F's on all my exams.

Dr. Pradhan is a fantastic lecturer- she expects you to pay attention in class and put forth effort outside of class, as well. As with most science/math classes, you must work practice problems, but contrary to the other reviews of Pradhan, success IS possible in this class.

Organic Chem I is a hard class, and she teaches it thoroughly. If you expect an "A" in her class, you need to 1) read the chapter before you come to class, 2) work every problem in the chapter backwards and forwards and 3) Memorize how to do the homework problems not only effectively, but quickly. Time is a big factor on the exams-know your Stuff

By far the worst teacher I've ever had! Her tests are extrememly hard, I just dropped it, the 2nd test class average was a 48 (out of 100)O.chem is a hard course already, she makes it a lot harder. Unless you are a genious at chemistry, I suggest you take a different professor.

Comment:

Teaches and prepares you well for the MCAT, but makes things difficult. The material she covers will leave you as strained as bulky 1,3-diaxial substituents. Doing well on her pop quizzes and exams (a.k.a. grade-reducing agents) is like reacting t-butyl fluoride under SN2 conditions. Even then, you will learn a lot just by going to her class.
