Karen is very passionate about what she teaches but she teaches more information than other 1010 instructors and moves at a very fast paced. I felt her exams could be a bit unfair, for example she will ask what path does Petey Poison take starting in the kidney to outside of body if you get one step out of order she marks them all wrong.

Professor Montgomery is very passionate about anatomy and I truly enjoyed her class. She is an excellent teacher and you will not fall asleep during her class watching power point after power point. She has many drawn diagrams that explain things well. Tough class but you'll learn so much. It set you up real well for bio classes after. Love her.

Montgomery provides outlines for each lecture so you have a clear plan of what material is being covered with questions at the end for retaining the material. Definitely take notes in addition to her outline and that's all you need to study for the exams. Highly recommend taking advantage of open lab time. She's tough but great!

Professor Montgomery is a very tough teacher, but she should be because it is a difficult class in general and not an easy A class. If you record lectures and take good notes, read the book for more background info, and make flash cards from her outlines, I promise youll do fine. Shell answer any questions you have & wants to see you do well!!

Hardest class I have ever taken, she is super kind and nice but it doesn't make up for the fact that she gives very little help. She wants her students to figure things out on their own and for this class I just couldn't do it. I would recommend taking this class at the Warwick campus instead.

Very nice lady who is passionate about human body but very bad at teaching it to beginners such as myself. I felt as if I was missing a pre-req? Her exams are extremely difficult and too in depth. Withdrew from the class towards the end & took it with another prof next semester, was much better understood and less difficult.

She is a super nice teacher and really cares about anatomy but needs to update her lectures. Lectures are dreadful to sit through, I ended up having to record lectures to make sure I didn't miss any information because there are no powerpoints or handouts on her lecture. You will be tested on everything she said in lectures, so record them!

if you attend every lab and lecture, pay attention, and are willing to put in the work you will be fine. as far as lab goes I highly recommend utilizing the open lab time every week. her lecture tests come directly from the notes in lecture and DEFINITELY do the objectives on each outline! her tests always had multiple chances for extra credit

Her exams will have three essay questions worth about 10 pts each, maybe compare and contrast. It seems like no one ever got the full points no matter how much they wrote, you can only write so much about a thumb. Try passing when you miss out on nearly 15 points and thats not even taking into account her tricky multiple choice.

If u take this class u will end up with a ten lb manual typed up by KM that will have you reading a page of directions on where to move your hand to locate one anatomical structure. And if you have trouble she will come by your side and tell you to read it over again. Other campuses provide manuals with pics pointing out structures.

She is very passionate about anatomy and the human body, however, I felt that she wants you to also know just as much as she does. The exams cover tons of material and her short essay questions/ compare and contrasts were terrible. I had friends in other anatomy classes and their professors didn't require them to know a lot of what she did.

IMO, her tests are unfair and a mystery. She likes to put essay questions (compare/contrast) worth many points, and then gives you half the points even if you right down everything you can think of. Its just not a good way to learn anatomy but a good way to easily fail her exams.

She is so passionate about anatomy & physiology. Highly recommend you record her lectures and make sure you know the answers to the questions at the end of the outlines. Her tests are tough but if you study the questions and ask her questions during her office hours you're going to pass.

She is smart, enthusiastic and cares. You have to study, pay attention during lecture her tests are all lecture based record everything take good notes and you'll do fine. People who don't do well is because they cut class don't take good notes and just make excuses if you try hard and take time to learn its easy. You rarely use a textbook.

She is a nice person but there were a few things I disliked about her course. Her exams are extremely difficult, they are based on what she says in lecture but some questions have nothing to do with it. She doesn't really have any resources to help succeed and her outline questions are ridiculously difficult. Needed to retake, wouldn't recommend.

She is very passionate about Anatomy and loves teaching it. Her tests cover a ton of content and are very difficult. I recommend recording her lectures. You need to study 3-4 hours each lecture to have a chance at passing. Don't miss a class or lab if you want to pass! Hardest class I have ever taken!
