Honestly, one of the best professors at SJU! He fully knows statistics and tries to put it in the most simple forms for you to understand. Open note tests and final, he will literally give you 'review problems' to put in your notes. Those exact problems will be on the tests and all you have to do is change the numbers. Take him if you can!!

Boyle's Business Stat class was one of the easiest classes I've taken at SJU. However, that doesn't necessarily make Boyle a great fundamental teacher because he really isn't. He flips through the powerpoints very fast and is sometimes very unclear. I really did like how he split up the tests into smaller amounts of chapters. Overall, solid prof.

If you want an easy A take Boyle for business stat. Every test/quiz is open note, open book. He can be a little odd but it makes class interesting. Class will be a breeze if you've had any type of stat class prior to this.

If you are the kind of person who needs steps to learn how to do math, do not take Boyle. His lectures are scattered and fast and not really thorough on the material. It is A LOT of teaching yourself. However, his homework does not have due dates and his tests are always open book/open note, but you need to know the material.

2nd review of Boyle for analytics and I'd have to say I am happy I took him again. Overall great guy, very helpful, and approachable. Make sure he knows who you are, and if you are stuck ask questions. Exams are easy, limited HW, 2 projects (one of which is difficult) etc. One of my favorite professors at SJU. Take him if you can.

1 quiz, 5 tests and must submit homework occasionally. All tests are open notes/tests so if you have the back tests you are golden. Otherwise he does teach a little but will definitely have to teach some of it to yourself because doesn't go into a lot of detail. Class done every time within 30 minutes, definitely suggest as an easier stat teacher.

Really nice guy, knows his stuff. Tests mirror the HW questions so as long as you put in an effort it really helps. He simplifies stat and makes every thing as straight forward as possible. Very helpful if needed, and very approachable. Take him for stat and you will not regret it.

Took him for a whole year Stats and Analytics. He's very straight forward. Tells you exactly what's on the test. HW mirrors tests just with different numbers. Tests are open notes and book. Print out the slides and make sure you write down the correct HW solution and it's an easy A.

get the backtests from a previous student and your set. class is a joke bring a laptop and watch cartoons cuz your not learning a thing. teach it to yourself. boyles always sippin on that "water bottle" so bring a mixed bev to class and join him

Boyle is one of the most miserable people you will ever meet. He tells you that just about every class. Class is incredibly boring and he never does a good job of teaching. I only did well in the class because tests are only 2 chapters each, and he doesn't take off many points often.

He has been proven wrong in class but too proud to change his mind/a grade. Kevin Boyle is the man. Definitely an akward man but class is fun. Loves to ramble on about things urelated to course topics. LapTops are allowed in class so he's pretty easy going. His akwardness is the key, its hilarious. Give him a hard time and you'll be set.

He is so boring, usually kind of mean/rude, and doesn't actually teach you...and makes awkward remarks. The class is easy because it's all open book, if you can teach yourself you'll do wonderful, just go to class, zone out, and learn it later and you'll be fine!
