She can be strict and will call you out in class if you're unprepared but she'll also go out of her way to help you and is always available. Her grading is more relaxed on homework, so studying for tests is really important.

I took her Advanced French Language and Culture class my first semester at school. I definitely underestimated the difficulty of the class, which is why I ended up without an A. However, if you actually study before tests and work at her writing assignments, you will do well. She cares about her students, although she can be spacey and confusing.

I really enjoyed her French Cinema class. She knew a lot about the history of France and of Film. She gave us a lot of interesting articles to read, but it wasn't really necessary to read through the whole thing. A little unclear in terms of grading.

Was so unclear about what she wanted in her papers that few students ever got really good grades on them. It took us a whole semester before we finally started getting it right. Sometimes spent too much time on one thing, and not enough time on others.
