You won't learn anything. He's got a C guarantee, but it's an easy A if you put in the effort. He never assigned reading and almost never discussed the material in class, but he still puts a bunch of stuff he never teaches you on exams. Good for foundational studies (if you don't mine gross jokes), but not if you're a communication major.

Prof. Ward is a funny and caring guy, but a bit awkward and disorganized. Guarantees at least a C in the class of you attend and do all assignments, but it's an easy A. My only complaint is the group projects, which are a large portion of your grade. Lectures don't prepare for tests, but if you go to the optional review he gives all the answers.

Ward is probably the best professor I've ever had. Day 1 he told us that if we came to class and gave a real honest effort you would not get lower than a C. Which if you have a lot of classes that are way harder is a blessing. He has the textbook online for free and you use it a little bit. He's a funny guy and he will do his best to help you pass.

He is more of a friend than a teacher in class as he makes jokes and such with students. I didn't learn much in the class and still did well. Overall, I would take the class again but don't take him if you actually want to learn how to speak. Plus he's very disorganized.

If you want to learn something then don't take this class. Nobody in the class didn't feel prepared for the final and each grade showed that. He does give pop quizzes when no one shows up so it's a good idea to show up each day. He claims that the first group project he gives won't hurt a person's grade, but that's a lie.

He is laid back but if you are looking for someone to teach you how to be a better public speaker then this guy is not for you. He doesn't actually teach the art of public speaking. And save your money, don' t buy the book. He says he expects us to read it but we never test or use it for assignments. Easy A because he has low expectations.

Kevin is a very fun teacher. my only complaint is the weekly journal. it is very easy but i forgot to do it once its not a big deal if you put a reminder in your phone. the group project is easy and if you miss something he will more than likely let you make it up.

Best Teacher Ever!!! He really cared about all the students and wanted everyone to pass his class!! Lenient and nice to everyone. Do everything you're supposed to and you'll get a giant A! Do not believer the haters on here who say that he is a bad teacher because they are lying!!!

Very relaxed and generally nice guy. Tells a lot of personal stories. Doesn't make you do very much work, except for the group book report, which is very hard just because it is a group project. If you have an option, definitely take Ward.

Amazing professor and so far my favorite foundational studies professor. He has quirky jokes and always makes class fun. Very easy to get off subject and has funny stories. He is very easy and I recommend him to everyone I know.

Great professor if you're in his good class, and if not do yu're work and he won't have any problems with you. Gets off topic really easliy and shares personal information a lot. Do your speeches and outlines on time, and make sure you do the group reading project 'cause he doesn't take any excuses for not doing it.
