LOVE THIS PROF! Shes super nice and when you become buddy buddy with her she will love you! Show up to class, read the book, take good notes, and you will do fine. Ask her lots of questions too! Shes really good!

Professor Lanning is awesome. She is really laid back and understands that the class she teaches isn't your only class. She is an easy grader, has a great personality, and never gave us homework. Ignore the ratings given by NUR 120 and 220, those classes are pointless but that isn't a reason to be harsh to the prof. I recommend her, highly.

Amazing teacher, and super laid-back. She really cares about students and realizes the stress we have. Easy grader and is willing to change due dates if something occurs and you can't finish on time. I don't know why everyone else didn't like her on here, because she was AMAZING and would love to have her again. Best 321 prof ever,better than 320!

I don't know whether to feel sorry for her because she obviously doesn't want to be there, or be mad that my $ is wasted. I disagree w/the other rators, the expectations are VERY clear & I felt grading was fair. Too bad the class is POINTLESS. They are really making it mandatory for everyone? What a waste! Would be a great online class at best.

Kim is such a sweetie. I had her for lab and clinicals. She really knows what she is talking about. You can very easily get her off topic, but it usually has something to do with the class. She is also pretty easy as far as grading and is not very picky about assignments. There is tons of stuff to do, but she if very easy goingo about it all.

I'm honestly not sure how Ms. Lanning landed this job because she is a horrendous instructor. Her grammar is astoundingly poor - she ends many of her sentences with "...and stuff" and makes up words of her own on a regular basis. She is very erratic in her grading and her quiz and test questions were all sentences straight out of the textbook.

TERRIBLE instructor. Has very poor grasp of the english language and lied on several occasions. It was my first class at Grand Valleg and it was a horrible experience because of Ms. Lanning.

Professor doesn't have a good grasp on the English language (something can't be more better) but she is nice. Class is incredibly repetitive and boring w/ lots of busy work. She grades quite randomly but if you read you will get all your points on quizzes and the final which will make up for any bad papers.

I had Kim for primary care clinical. She was awesome, I loved the experience!!! There is a lot of paperwork, but it is really straight forward. Kim is awesome, take her if you can!

This class is a lot of book work. She is a nice lady but is hard to contact. I found her very unhelpful and my grade suffered because of it. This class is a lot of work for 2 credits. I don't suggest this class if you need to decide if nursing is a career you want to persue.

this class was soooo much work with points being taken off for minor details in her papers. she is very nice but says different things in class than are on the syllabus and is somewhat confusing with her grading criteria. Just be sure to ask her if you have any questions.

This class is an online one, and she rarely checks her email. I complete all of the assignments listed on BB and still don't seem to receive the points i should for my effort. I agree about grading papers. She doesn't clearly tell you what she wants, or how she graded it.

I am an A student and I highly advise dropping this course. She makes quizzes that are take home, open note, and the averages were still like a 6 or 7 and they took 45 minutes to do 10 questions. She is too picky and the class is very timely! RUN!
