I completely second the 8/7/2006 comment. I am also a Full Professor with an endowed chair at a major research university, and what I learned from Prof. Bundy's biomaterials classes was incredibly useful for my career in a field (neural prostheses) that is only marginally related to his.

Comment:

I took Mechanics of Materials with Dr. Bundy in '97-98. I didn't get a lot out of that class, mostly due to Bundy's completely lifeless teaching style. He was also my undergrad academic advisor, but could not have appeared less interested when I met with him. Thanks for nothing, Bundy!

His class was informative and incredibly useful. I say this as a Full Prof with an endowed chair at a major research university, 20 years after I took his class. What he taught me about biomaterials put me above the rest of my field (whose relation to biomaterials is only marginal).

Dry sense of humour and many hands on laboratoryes. Class presence is not grated so if you are in class just for the tests you are set

Comment:

Materials and biomaterials professor. Lecture is often very dry. If you have trouble with a concept, it may require some office-hour time to get it across, as he sometimes has difficulty relating complex ideas to students.
