I had to drop this course as soon as I realized her teaching method. On the first week of school we were already EXPECTED to have the books. There were quizzes due. And she had already sent the class several emails about upcoming work and what was due. There was already talk about a paper. On the first week of school. Never dropped a class faster.

She structures the class so you can't skip, one day a week you take a quiz based on reading homework, the other day you play a business simulation that counts for a quiz grade. She does have occasional mood swings but if you try and show interest in the class or even that you kinda care she'll really like you.

She's out of her mind and thinks her class is the only one that truly matters. She has very clear favorites and not very clear instructions on assignments. There's either a game (group work) or a quiz (from assigned readings) every single class. If you miss class she expects documented reasoning as to why and if you don't then be ready for a 0.

She's crazy but make sure you participate and get on her good side the first couple of classes or participate in a student run business. This women set up the course so you literally can't miss a class. There is a simulation one day (test grade) and a quiz the other class so you better show up and be on time or else she'll hit you with that 0.

This woman is clinically insane. She acts like her class is our class. She assigns two chapter readings a week and there is literally a quiz everyday. There's a semester long group project plus two papers and also a midterm and final AND a final presentation. you will fail if you don't participate and attendance counts a lot too. would never take

Winsted was possibly the worst business prof I've ever had. She gives a lot of HW and readings without really explaining anything. The business simulations games are extremely annoying because if you didn't get the readings you have no idea whats going on. And if you don't participate you will fail . If I never have her again it will be to soon.

Winsted is a good teacher, just really annoying. She incorporates these business simulations into the class which helps you to understand the material more. The homework is just to read and take notes and some assignments but the two tests are open book. Do the work and you'll be fine

A pretty good professor overall. She tries to make the class a little more interesting and fun by incorporating the business games. She has extensive knowledge in all different aspects of business and she definitely loves her job. Just make sure you have all of your hw assignments in on time and you'll be good. Lets you use written notes on final.

late with EVERYTHING!! She'll pick on you at random so make sure you took notes the night before. She says everything with a smile on her face and brought us breakfast every Wed. She alternates between lectures and games and the games are much harder. If you know strategy, the games are great. If not, you'll be pretty ASSED OUT.

whoever got picked on by her got picked on for a reason. I got picked on a few times when she caught me playing drag racer v3 on the computer. She knows her stuff, and midterm and final are easy open note exams, just know the definitions. attendance mandatory, simulations are fun, i suggest her for bus150. SHE IS NOT MEAN, she's very bright as well
