Great professor. I learned a lot. You have to make sure to go to class but aside from that he is extremely helpful and taught me a lot of skills. He is a portrait artist on the side and is great at what he does. I cannot say his class is easy but if you make an effort, attend class, and are open to learning he is excellent.

Boring class.You sketch shoes,bottles,irons,and other pointless crap for the first 2 months.He looks for perfection from a beginner level class.Repetitive so it's an easy class but Keith is NOT a good professor!He's scatterbrained,rude,and unhelpful.Sketchbook assignments are horrible.He is extremely closed minded and limiting.DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS

I hated this class all semester. He gives you a huge list of stuff you "have" to have and you don't use 99% of it. He's disrespectful, rude and gives you no positive feedback. His sketchbook assignments are boring and I haven't learned a thing from him. Drawing should be about free expression and with him, you're S-O-L. I don't recommend taking him

He really knows almost every thing there is about Academic style of art so you will learn a lot of the technical stuff. However, he has too big of an ego. His sketchbook assignments are excessive! And if you don't listen he freaks out! I love drawing and it relaxes me but his class makes me stressed and unmotivated. No positive feedback either.

professor Keith was pretty cool. You must be present and pay attention. If there are things you don't understand you should seriously ask questions. He will help you. i actually looked forward to going to this class every day :)

Kyle has been my favorite teacher yet. He is very passionate about art and really pushes you to do your best. He gets annoyed if you don't pay attention, rightfully so because he has alot of knowledge and experience to share. You will improve ten fold if you are motivated and willing to learn.

He becomes cocky and annoyed when students don't incorporate his techniques. You can only be absent once before grade reduction, and the classes get a little monotonous. BUT, he's a great figure drawing instructor. My figure drawing skills have increased tenfold since taking his class. He's very helpful and clear when he's helping you improve.

Very good teacher. You have to listen to him even when he's giving other students advice, and you WILL learn and see dramatic improvement. He's very traditional and has a wonderful teaching method. I've taken 3 classes with him and plan on taking every other one i possibly can with him :)

He is a really nice guy, but sometimes can be too uptight and seem quite cocky towards students. Not too much help and shows much favoritism in the class. I would recommen if you want an easy A+, but if you want a worthwhile experience, skip it.

excellent beginning prof He will teach you the by the book methods to start you in the right direction though hes very set in the ways of the masters This is fine for a begginer but for a student hoping to develop creatively it really becomes a roadblock I recommend taking him for intro classes only

:: class is very boring :: however; he does structure it well in that your art skill will have increased significantly after taking his class. "you can master any art medium if you can master charcoal" - - be prepared to draw with charcoal - a lot. a good guy, though.

Kyle is a nice guy, but I know our first test (after our first quiz) nearly everyone in my class failed... I think a lot of people wont be coming back in the fall due to this class... but the guy is nice and he does care a lot about painting
