Comment:

Great professor. I took her online class for the spring interim semester. She made sure we had the right book, you can tell she cares for her students. Although we had a lot of quizzes in the semester (within 3 weeks) it was possible to stay ahead but VERY easy to fall behind. I would definitely take her again.

Comment:

Dr. Graves is the best professor I have ever had, she loves history and works hard to make sure everyone understands the topic and not just memorize the material. She has weekly quizzes but they can all be found on quizlet, the midterm is an in-class paper and so is the final. She has occasional in-class group projects but they are quick and easy.

Comment:

Took this class during the summer bc I had to drop it with Professor Clayton (he was awful), anyways this was the easiest class ever. It was literally just a handful of tests and that was it. You can work ahead which makes it easy to get it finished up in a week. A+ professor!!

The weekly quizzes over the chapter can sometimes be tough, but the discussions aren't too hard. Had a lot more luck with Professor Graves than I did with Professor Clayton for History

Dr Graves expects a lot from her students however although she may not be my favorite I have chosen to take History 1302 with her as well because her expectations are straight forward and easy to follow. Also very understanding and will accommodate in most cases.

Online summer course. Very straight forward. Can access test as many times as needed before you submit it. 25 multiple choice questions and 1 essay every test. Best way for a dyslexic person to take history ever. Highly recommend. About to take US Hist II from her this second summer session. An easy A if you get your test done on time.

Amazing teacher! One of my favorites ever. Extremely helpful and very clear with assignments. As long as you read the chapters assigned (2/wk), take the tests, and check-in, you'll do great. I took her online for both HIST 1301 and 1302 and am so glad I did!

Dr. Graves was easy online. I took the Summer course, and passed. I really think History is boring, so if you don't like lectures, she's the online class to take! Read the chapter, take an open-book test, and post on the discussion board every week!

Took this class online. Thought she was a great teacher, very organized and really wanted her students to do well. Tests were fairly easy if you read your assignments and the deadlines were more than enough time. I would most definetly take this professor again.

I took online and her class was relatively easy, except midterm and final are essay form and she tends to grade them on opinion and not what is in book. Student syllabus is very demeaning and sarcastic (doesn't make you look forward to class). Never answers my emails and for an online class that is important. You have to listen to lectures online:(
