I liked her lectures a lot, but she was kind of rude through emails *when she did respond. Thats why I didnt like her so much at first. But overall, you will get an A+ if you take good notes, study your notes, make flash cards, and look at the pdf resources she has on bb. Its a good basic and history period to learn so its not hard.

WORST PROFESSOR AT AUM, SHOWS NO EMOTION TOWARDS STUDENTS, VERY RUDE, DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS AT ALL!!! DOES NOT TRY TO HELP THE STUDENT BODY, HAS SEVERAL STUDY SESSIONS, TESTS ARE 50% ESSAY, SO BE READY TO WRITE, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE AVOID THIS PROFESSOR FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR GPA! This class is mandatory by the university but, she is super fun. I had this at 8am and it was a really good choice because it was easy and she would let you eat breakfast in class.

She is okay I guess. She thinks she is funny but she isnt. There was never a lecture where she didnt bring up sex in some way. She is pretty rude but she cares about your well being on a personal level which is respected

Dr. Farrow is my favorite. I've never been as interested in history as I am now! She makes it so interesting and actually makes you want to learn. She is an amazing person and teacher. I'm really thankful I have her this semester. She is really helpful, kind and caring. If you do the work you'll succeed in this class.

I'm not one to like history very much, but Dr. Farrow made this class SO interesting! You do have to put in a lot of effort in this class, but she gives you all the resources you need to make a good grade. Her midterm & final tests each have a essay that counts as 50% of the test grade, but she hints about what question will be asked.

Dr. Farrow is an amazing professor. Some students say she is hard, but she just expects you to put forth effort. Quizzes every week as outlined on syllabus. Had to read 2 books during the semester for a quiz grade. Mid-term and finals are 50% essay. Be prepared to show your knowledge. You cannot slack off with reading. I learned tons!

Dr. Farrow holds a very regimented class. You will be expected to to the assignments and readings and put forth a good effort while doing so. Dr. Farrow is not what a lot of people would consider to be an easy professor, but she is very fair and you will learn a lot if you follow her syllabus which usually includes a lot of reading and writing.

Dr. Farrow is one of those professors you either love or hate-I think she's great.She is clearly brilliant and very funny.I almost dropped the class, but I'm glad I stuck with it because it ended up being one of my favorites-who knew Russian literature could be so interesting? Do not be afraid of Dr. Farrow-unless you are lazy or cannot write.

Amazing! She's really tough. You have to study a lot, do all her worksheets, and read. But I learned so much from her. If you're interested in history she's a win! Especially if you're into wars.

This is a TOUGH class -- it demands a lot of time and effort, but it is worth it to learn what it REALLY takes to complete historical research. She was accessible outside of class and wonderful. I enjoyed that she cared so much about our progress. Her deadlines keep you from procrastinating!

Dr. Farrow is a very energetic and enthusiastic professor who genuinely cares about her students. Her classes may not be the easiest ones out there, but you come out of her classes with a wealth of knowledge and better study skills.
