I'm not the greatest at Math, and I never have been, but Professor Johnson is probably the first instructor I've had that actually helped me to understand the subject. Very nice in person, a LOT of homework though. As mentioned earlier, she sends out grades bi-weekly via email, which helps. I'd recommend her for this class. Be ready to work though.

This class is not math in the real world. Half the things you learn will never be used again. I'm pretty good at math and found her to be a pretty good teacher. Make sure you pay attention. She sends out detailed grades weekly which is VERY helpful.

She is a great professor. I feel sometimes that she acts like everyone in the class is slow and doesnt understand what is going on but I feel she does that to make sure everyone understands. Her tests are fair and based on the material taught. She is very helpful and willing to do what she can to help.

Don't take Math 206 with her. She's really unclear and her tests are ridiculous. I'm a senior and this is the only college class I've really struggled with.

This was probably THE easiest class I have taken so far in my college career. She makes the material easy to understand and the quizes and exams are relatively easy. She spends a lot of time going over homework though, which can have its advantages. Because of this class, I have switched to a math concentration (which I hope I do well in!)

She is hard when it comes to quizzes, and pretty helpful. I wouldnt recommend her class though, because her quizzes are too hard. Even though I studied a lot I feel like I should not get this grade. I dont understand, I have a tutor and her helping me. She is picky on quizzes but grades okay. Dont recommend taking her class, find another professor.

She is a great teacher, honestly all the people who complain probably are just lazy, because if you pay attention in her class you should do fine. If you can't handle this class, than you probably shouldn't be a teachers, seeing as this is all aimed at teaching elementary school.

I cannot stand her! She is unclear and the book she uses is no help either. Looking back at her notes don't help at all. If you can get Tiballi instead, go with her. At least Tiballi knows how to teach.

Class is really hard.The first day the course is outlined, and you think it will be so an easy A. Got a C because her tests were so ridiculous. Very hard and she makes the tests impossible to finish in the class time allotted.Homework needs to be done each night. Too bad shes the only teacher for mat206, and the course is needed for Ed majors!

Math has never been my strongest subject, but I must say that this has been one of the best math professors that I have ever had. Just go to class (perfect attendance gives you 3 points on your OVERALL average), do the HW (she collects and gives bonus points), and put aside time to her review packets and you will pass with flying colors

Make sure you do your homework every night, because she WILL call on you during classtime. You'll most likely need a tutor if you are not doing well in the first few weeks. Tests/Quizzes are semi-hard. Willing to help after class/ during office hours. Passed with a C,even with a tutor and studying

she laughs at herself a lot so just laugh along with her. you go over homework basically the whole class period and she expects you to teach yourself stuff you dont really understand by the book. so get the book and be ready to use it. homework and going to class does help. attendance is taken and u get extra points if you go to class.

Great professor with a nice disposition. She makes a lot of jokes that are lame... but give her a pity laugh. It's simple if you do the homework and don't blame her for your math ineptitude. I suggest taking her class, especially if you aren't a math major.

In general this class is just plain hard. I'm an excellent math student and I worked my butt off for a B-. She spends way too much time going over homework so be ready to teach yourself the material by reading a math book - yup reading a math book. Dumb....if you ask me.
