Prepare to read take notes and think. This professor does all she can do to make you think/make your own assumptions about the subject at hand, and oh boy the reading is difficult. She's always available for individual consult, but she will however expect you to have done research, or try to answer your questions before you ask them at meetings.

All her exams are short answer which sucks, and the reading is all extremely hard. Her lectures aren't the greatest and I feel like a lot of material she talks about isn't really relevant. She doesn't use blackboard or any textbooks, so if you don't pick something up from the lecture it's nearly impossible to grasp it.

She doesn't use blackboard, at all. Doesn't give the best resources. Lectures are decent, she is passionate, but if you like to have other sources to help you study she won't help you.

She's amazing! Lectures are interesting and she goes over everything in class. The exams are "short answer" meaning you have to recall the answer in a word or a couple sentences and write it down. There is one 5-page paper. If you go to class and study, it's not hard.

Took her for women in Philosophy. She is a great teacher, very knowledgeable and friendly. She does tend to drag on during discussions but she definitely makes you think.

She is a really enthusiastic teacher, but she does not come off as professional. She seems to have her favorites, even if that is not intended when she starts. She is rude in e-mails when she really doesn't have to be. I am just now sure why she is so mean at times. Don't take her if you can help it.

Dr. Williams has a strange teaching style, but it is extremely rewarding once it is figured out. She doesn't hold your hand, and she expects you to challenge yourself by reversing the roles of teacher and student. This course was taught on Kierkegaard and could have been clearer, but writing those 21 and 8 page papers was fruitful beyond measure.

Not the end of the world if you get get Williams. She comes off as crazy but some how it declines as semester passes. I would try to avoid if possible though, but her class is the best of a bad situation. Just take notes and memorize them for tests. Don't need to read the books just highlight what she says.

I had her for intro to ethics. The material is hard and there is a lot of reading, but she explains it the best she can and is always full of energy. Good professor.

I had Dr. Williams for Introduction to Ethics. This class was very hard and she is not a very good professor. It is hard to follow her lectures and she moves very quickly. You read about 5 books and have homework almost every night. I would not recommend Dr. Williams or this class to anyone.

I had her for Intro to Ethics. Awful class. I hated every second of being in the same room with her. She talks like Ace Ventura, like somehow that will make Aristotle more interesting. Unless you memorize every word she says perfectly for the test (short answer, by the way), the class is near impossible. She even responds to emails with attitude.

She's interesting and passionate. She keeps things interesting, but she's difficult. Her tests tend to test concepts she briefly mentions in passing, and you pretty much have to recall word for word what she says. Take awesome notes. The paper is the hardest paper I've ever written. Some of her questions are looking for specific answers & unclear.

Definitely one of my favorite professors at Kent. She's funny and makes all the material more understandable. She does pick favorites it seems with her students and tends to not be very helpful with people who are not favorites. Her tests and papers are ridiculously difficult for an intro class! She does curve however. A's are not impossible.

This is one of those strange cases were the prof. is a great teacher, but a lousy person. I tried to be polite to her she would throw it back in my face every time. God help you if you have to miss her class, even for a legit. reason it doesn?t matter she will hate you and treat you like crap. She power trips a lot. RUN IF YOU GET HER!! RUN!!!

She's awesome.. at first I was worried, but ended up getting A's or B's on all of the tests, which are short answer. She's really funny. I admittedly didn't read all of the material towards the end of the semester, which is definitely challenging, but she explains it in today's terms and appreciates it if you did read.

Very helpful teacher and does a good job of making some difficult to understand material a little easier to digest. That being said, it's not at all easy to get an A on one of her papers, close to impossible.
