One of my favorite professors in and out of class. Great guy, funny, and got lucky with teaching the best classes, history and Theory. You shouldn't miss class or you'll fall behind but if you pay attention and take notes you have a good shot at an A

He is awesome and brilliant. Also hilarious. Very philosophical but makes a lot of sense. A lot interpretation and critical thinking is required.

Tony is hands down the best professor at the SOA, he is very informative and supportive. He is a tough grader, especially if your opinion is different than his on topics, but overall very interesting and fun. He knows his stuff and is very funny! History & Theory was very tough, but you will learn a lot. Martinico is the man!

Tony is probably the best teacher I have ever had, not only because of the witty jokes peppered throughout class but his energy and emotion he projects into each class. His class is challenging but his format pushes students to question the theory of buildings and the design process behind it. History and Theory III is most influential class at UDM

A fearless, engaging man. Devoted and true to his convictions but tolerant at the same time. Doesn't take himself (ar onyone else) too seriously. I never heard a cruel word uttered from his lips. Friendly and funny!

Comment:

Great human being, masterfully teaches his classes with resect and dignity. Never boaring even if the subject might be (talkng about the killer slide show now). Reaches out to students and will offer support and kindness no matter the subject. A man of taste and ethics, Tony,to his students, is someone you can trust, rare quality in Arch. school.
