I was excited to take this creative writing class but now I kind of regret it. She is a tough grader and never explains really what you need to fix. Discussions are tedious each week and she expects so much from you, I never received a good grade on discussions. If you want to complete a lot of work take her, otherwise stay away!

I took this class for fun but it was hard. she did help me improve my vision. I took this class online. Deadlines were consistent and assignments helpful. However she didn't seem very open to me coming to her office to talk about my papers when I suggested to.

I dislike this professor with a passion. Lisa is rude and constantly on a tangent about how horrible her life was when she was young in Alaska. She made me hate nonfiction and was not understanding when I was placed in the hospital and couldn't come to class. She has little pets and if you don't worship her you are not getting an A

Lisa puts your writing into a canon-- her canon. If you don't follow her narrtive writing style, she docks you for it. Also-- she's more concerned with being cool than teaching. Very unorganized and feedback lacked.

Lisa is talented, fun and extremely helpful in refining writer's skills. She provides excellent comments on student's work and does so in a timely manner. Her classes really helped me perfect my writing.
