Comment:

Could not imagine taking any film theory course without Lisa. Seemed more like a peer than a teacher- really wanted us to get the difficult material. Came out of the class knowing that I learned a lot. FILM 100 with her rocks too.

Comment:

Even though her course isn't exactly easy, Lisa does a pretty good job of consistently keeping you interested in film. There are a lot of readings but they're mostly for clarification of the lectures and often complements them. A really informative course if you want to go further into film. :)

Very clear and organized, but throws a ton of info at you right away. However, this is EXCELLENT background if planning to go into film, as other profs are a lot less rigorous.
