He uses a software called MyLab Math to participate in the class. Be prepared to receive A LOT of email reminders to submit your hw and tests on time and how he will not accept late work no matter what personal problems you may have. The course is self-taught, but its doable. I failed this course 3 times on campus and I passed online with an A-.

I took Professor Trad's fast-track MATH 175 online class which consisted of weekly assignments, 4 exams, and a final exam. He also gives an opportunity to replace the lowest exam score with the score of the final exam if it's higher.

So I took this class online, and it is entirely self taught. Also the prof never responded to any of my emails, most of which consisted of asking for help with certain concepts. I don't know how he is in an actual lecture, but I don't recommend him online, especially if you struggle with math like I do. I had weekly mental breakdowns.

He was a great professor. I struggled with math in high school but having him for math 150 helped me quite a bit. I will be taking his class for precalc in the fall.

Trad was an awesome Elementary Algebra professor! He was the first professor to make Algebra make sense. Not only did he go above and beyond to help his students outside of class, but his lectures really went above and beyond any math professor I've ever taken. His tests were all based on the material he taught, and having the homework/quizzes help

On-line class is totally self taught. He does not do anything AT ALL except send emails to say "no late work accepted." No flexibility for life situations, no help on concepts. Nothing. If you can do it all yourself, you will be fine. If you need help, forget it!

My experience was unpleasant at best. I came in about 10 min late a few times directly from work, due to bad accidents, he wouldn't let me in the class. He teaches you different methods than are in the book. I got a F in his class, and re-took it online the next semester and got a B.

I took Tra for both Math 30 & 150 online and it was such a great opportunity to take his course. His lessons posted online help you out a ton, and the quizzes and tests are everything the lessons go over. If you ever have a question he responds no later than the following day. As someone who struggles in math, this was a great way to those classes.

Syllabus was clear. I took summer 150 and it was a lot of homework at times, but it'll be fine if you do a few sections through out the week and not when its due day of. At the final week he drops lowest test score and that's your final grade. Everything was done on mymathlab.

Prof. Trad is 1 of the best prof I've ever had in my academic career. His lectures are very thorough, clear, & concise. Math is not my strong suite but taking his class changed that. He was always around to answer ?s & he always replied to emails promptly. He made the material understandable. I wish he taught 150 in person! I highly recommend him!

He is great at giving lectures. He went step by step in every problem. Within the problem he would ask if we had any questions or if we were confused. He gives homework everyday but it's due next Wednesday and test are pretty easy just study and go to tutoring it helped me a lot. Only 4 tests and a final and quizzes are based on the hw problems

Love this teacher! He really cares he always wants you to ask questions doesn't belittle any dumb questions! Everything in his class is very organized there are no surprises so as long as you do the work its great! Has a lot of office hours so you can always get the help you need and has SI leaders for extra studying or help.

Professor trad is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. I learned so much from his class! I've never been good at math but now it actually makes sense to me! He teachers you every concept of mathematics in depth so you can really grasp and understand the material. Highly recommended for anyone who struggles in math.

Comment:

Must be in class on time and no leaving early or walking out to use the restroom during his lecture. Does not like being interruptions and will kick you out if he sees or hears your phone. Easy HW, quiz from HW, test from Quiz, final from test. If you pay attention, do the HW and ask questions you will learn. His attitude is tough but grades easy.
