Dr. Flynn is great! The textbook wasn't exactly "mandatory" as you could get by just fine without reading it, since she posts chapter slides and the readings you need for homework, it just helps for the tests (you can still pass without it though). Attendance and participation are a quarter of your grade for this class so show up and speak up!

Professor Flynn is hands down the best professor in SUCO to take for Financial. She truly cared about her class doing well and she actually teaches the material to you. The class and her exams are hard but she works with you and will answer your question as many times as it takes. Don't miss out! Gives extra credit and tons of study material! Dope!

Professor Flynn is absolutely wonderful. This was the first accounting class I had ever taken and she made it not just manageable but enjoyable. Her passion for the subject is inspiring. If you actually read the textbook it corresponds perfectly with her teaching and clarifies the topics. Definitely attend her office hours. She is willing to help!

Even though it was my first accounting class, I was so glad it was with her. She's so fun in class, but if you like a professor who gets to the point she isn't for you. She repeats herself a lot but she is mad funny. She doesn't treat you much like a student, she treats you like a human being. And again, she's HILARIOUS.

She's a great professor, will help you if you talk to her. I wish I could've been on level for the class, all the accounting lingo went right over my head though she was willing to work with me but I had to withdraw to save my gpa. Corporate Social Responsibility requires lots of reading so be warned.

She was a very helpful professor who was always willing to answer any of my questions. Even though I got a B- and C+ on the first two exams, I ended up with an A- in the class because of the built in extra credit (HW, spreadsheet projects, and participation and attendance). Tests were difficult because of the time constraints to do the problems.

Flynn is one of the best teachers i have ever had(and this is my fourth school so i should know). She is very helpful and easy to talk to. I strongly recommend her to anyone needing an acct. class. Flynn is an accounting goddess!
