Wonderful lectures, helpful and interesting reading... The tests can be rough but if you take good notes in class they're not too bad.

Bro Millet is great! He's really smart and knowledgeable about the Gospel. He has a lot of great insight and is willing to work with students to make sure they understand tough concepts. There are six short writing assignments, but they were easy. I would recommend this class.

I really loved Brother Millet. I feel like I learned a lot from his lessons and I could feel the spirit a lot in his class. Sometimes he goes off on tangents but for the most part I loved the class.

Millet knows so much about the scriptures and the readings he has you read go hand in hand with the BOM text. (they're super helpful) the tests are multiple choice and fairly easy. (he gives out almost all the answers in the review sessions)

Dr Bob Millet has evolved thru the years as an educator and theologian.Though I had him "only" 27 years ago he ranks as one of the better BYU faculty members. His "take" on Gospel truths is for understanding and reflection.

This class was way too hard for a religion class. I never knew what to take notes on. He would talk about stories and parts of the scripture but I didn't know what was just philosophizing and what was stuff we had to know for the tests. Questions on tests were random bits of his lectures that did not seem the most important.

I took both semesters of BOM and the first semester of New Testament with the Millster. For a good grade all I really had to do was take notes in class and work through the exam study guides. i really enjoyed the classes I had with him.

Spiritual, but the tests reflect obscure knowledge from the scriptures, as well as personal doctrines of his. Something to audit, not to take.

Loved! Professor always willing to answer questions, to point of getting behind in class. Really got behind (like any religion class) & barely discussed Revelation. Graded entirely on two open-book tests and open-book final. I stopped doing the reading and did just fine. Taught me things I never would've imagined from the New Testament. Awesome!

Do NOT take this class unless you want to spend your semester studying for hours the history of the D&C, memorizing every date the D&C was modified and every section he doesn't talk about in class and know random facts he doesn't teach your but throws into the fill-in-the-blank exams. Horrible class, worst teacher I have ever had.

Holy smokes, apparently everyone had a different teacher. THis man is incredibly difficult. His tests are mostly fill-in-the-blank for the most little details and dates. Terrible teacher, terrible class. Do not take it from him. I've spent hours and hours studying still to get D+'s and C-'s. Awful, run for your life.

OK..no no no. your grade=the tests. that's it.He's a nice man, and knows SOOOO MUCH. too much almost, since he gets off topic all the time and you don't know where he starts his lectures. test questions are SPECIFIC DATES which was ridiculous. i thought concepts were more imp, but apparently not. do urself a favor, CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE!

Brother Millet is one of the best professors I have had. It's true that the grading is based on just 2 tests, but he prepares you for them. Especially if you attend his review sections.

Bro. Millet is the real deal. He knows so much crazy stuff about the scriptures it's ridiculous. If you ask for the review sheet early and take notes right on it during class then the tests are pretty easy; the tests are all you're graded on, so keep focusing on the sheet and you'll ace it. Oh yeah he's hilarious and can answer any question.

I loved this class and loved Professor Millet. He is amazing, he may get off topic, but it is always gospel related and is important for someone in the class to hear. I especially loved the fact that he took time to answer our personal questions to the best of his ability. His tests weren't hard if you studied and attended the review sessions.

When I went to his class he would get off topic pretty easily. A lot of his stories are funny. You dont have to do any work. He gives you a review sheet for the test but they didnt help me. You have to know a lot of quotes from the BOM. The 2 midterms and the final are the only chances for points which i didnt like. final = 2 midterms

I really love listening to his lecture, unfortunatley that doesn't help you a whole lot on the exams. His exams SUCK! His final is nice it is the exact same questions as exams one and two which he gives to you with the answers. Final is worth 50 percent of your grade so if you dont study it will kill your grade...

He gets way off topic and doesn't even discuss the BOM but answers people questions about religion in general. Nothing on the tests are covered in class, but he gives all the answers in the review session. It wasn't a bad class, but I also wouldn't take it from him again because I didn't learn anything about the BOM.
