Comment:

The material is a joke. It's so easy, but show up to class because there's always assignments to do. Lisa is an awkward kind of funny. Go to her office hours before you hand in your reports and she'll go over it with you so you can improve. Great GPA booster. Also a good class to take if you're not that great at writing and public speaking.

Took this course in summer 2016 with her. A lot of writing in the course. She is very helpful in her office hours if you need help editing your papers and make suggestions. This will get you a better mark.

I took this class during the summer semester. Lisa is a kind and understanding prof, and all of the assignments that you do in this class help you to build to your final project. She is very particular with grammar and spelling, but she teaches this along the way so that students make minimal mistakes. She is always willing to give extra help

Amazing professor. Her door is always open for questions. She really cares that her students learn. Coming from engineering, I wish every professor cared to teach and make sure everyone understands. Most useful class.

Lisa is my favourite prof at U of C. She keeps her lectures interesting with fun in-class assignments. She is very friendly and will go above and beyond for anyone that needs help. I highly recommend going to her office hours if you have questions or concerns or need help or feedback on the assignment.

What a remarkable course taught by a remarkable professor. I transitioned from a student who sat at the back every day, with a terror for public speaking, to a brave and ready-to-speak individual. All because of her amazing style, kindness, and help. A must take course with a must have professor.

Love her! She is really funny and makes lectures easy to pay attention to. I would recommend her to everyone! She will go above and beyond to help you in any way, she wants everyone to succeed. I would recommend going to see her in office hours to get the extra letter grade because she loves editing and giving you suggestions to make papers better!

Excellent prof. I learned more and felt more attentive in her class more than any other class in my academic career. She keeps you engaged by getting you to apply what you know in group work. I recommend her to ANYONE taking a post secondary course within the COMS field.

Brice is very easy going. Lets you teach yourself. Provides information overload then lets you parse through it. No exams just lots of assignments and presentations. The first assignment was group presentations where each group taught the other group how to do the next assignment. Interesting and different.

Extremely easy class. I thought, I will end up with a B or B+, n I got an A. Her marking is very easy too. NOONE IS AS HELPFUL AS HER IN THE UOFC!! She gives you extensions too if you talk to her. The only -ve thing: she doesnt mark the assignments quickly, may b cuz she has many many assignments to mark! but it doesnt mk any diff in my cmnt here!:

Lisa was great for tutorial. If you can, try and pick her for GNST300 class! She helped me and showed me nothing but kindness. She helps you prepare for the quizzes and has a great attitude. She genuinely cares about her students and is really nice. I think I would be screwed without her. If you miss a GNST class, make sure you show up to tutorial

She is by far the best prof I have had! I was not very happy getting stuck with a Sat. class but she made it fun. Pretty easy class.
