it was an easy class, i would take her again. if you have any question don't be shy go up to her & she'll explain you with no problems. my class was computer base with the alek program which gave us a littler hard time at the begining cause it wasn't posting our grade to her page plus some other things, but nothing to do with the prefesor

Good professor, her accent is not a problem to understand math. She gave me tools and shortcuts that I still use and make math super easy to understand. She is caring. If you show interest and work hard she will be there for you.

This class is easy if you do the hw. She's such a sweet professor and she gives shortcuts and easier ways of doing exercises. She does have a heavy accent but I had no problem understanding her. If you pay attention and show interest and do the hw she'll definitely help you pass the class.

DO NOT TAKE HER. Her accent is very very bad ! you can hardly understand most of the things she says. she doesn't explain the material thoroughly. and you will always end up having to take a lot of notes that you don't even understand . she would also make mistakes and be so lost. WARNING YOU ! DON'T TAKE HER. YOU WILL REGRET!

Didn't understand her accent at first but with time it was easy. Do the work an you'll pass. She loves when you are just an overall great student. Has a very unique way to teach in a good way though. Very helpful. Plenty of chances to pass to her class. You fail if you don't try.

Lixia, has been my best math teacher in the recent years. I've never been good at Math, but Lixia clarified helpful shortcuts in solving long problems, that makes your life 100% easier. She gives extra-credit to add to your test scores. She is amazing! On her 5 tests, I got a 70, 93 ,99, 72, and 83. I never thought I would understand Math till her!

Professor Argenal though she prefers Lixia is a decent professor if you already know math. She does everything in her power to pass you though and you can clearly understand her. Please do your math hours early or you'll end up like me going insane.

Super annoying, talks too much and too fast.. Hard to understand and not very helpful, treats your class like youre still in elementary school. Also speaks in 3rd person and offten offends the class with her remarks.. Does not grade fairly!!!!

Always refers to herself by her first name and is a bit eccentric.For a person who is not good at math , do not take her , she goes toooooo fast and has a heavy accent that makes me lose track of what shes saying. Great teacher but not my best experience ( i dropped her class)

This is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. I would recommend her to anyone. If she taught every other math class I would have to take I would choose her with my eyes closed. She cares about her students and whether they pass or not. Choose her, I promise you won't regret it. Oh, and she's funny! Not smiling in that class in impossible.

I LOVED THIS CLASS!!!!I am not a huge fan of math but she is such an amazing professor. She cares about her students and she gives you plenty of chances to bring up your grade. She is really funny. I enjoyed going to her class everyday. I took her class during the summer and her class is really easy to pass. I wish she taught MAT1033 :(

I took her for intermediate algebra at 8am during a 6 week summer semester which I was NOT looking forward to but Lixia made it bearable and even fun. She has a thick Hispanic accent but speaks slowly so it was not a problem for me. SHE WAS THE BEST MATH TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD. Don't miss class, do the test reviews and go to math lab!

I don't recommend this prof. at all. She is ALWAYS 15-20 minutes late to class. Gets mad easily and complains about how people don't show up to her class and that's why we all fail. Her accent is a bit heavy but a bit comprehensible . She tries to help at times when she isn't in a rush. Attendance isn't a big issue and doesn't care if you're late.

I took her for MAT0020 and MAT1033. She is a very nice professor and will help you every step of the way. Sometimes she goes very fast but she lets you ask her questions. She gives homework, but it is for extra points on the quiz. She has a strong accent but you can understand her.
