I had to take this class and I absolute hate writing! Prof. Kuhn is one of the nicest teachers! Class is mandatory and you will definitely need the text packet.. I often felt overwhelmed with other classes and I sometimes needed an extension.. Liz is very sweet as long as you try in her class you will do well =)

Elizabeth's mellifluous voice, charming demeanor, and pedagogical acumen awakened me many a languid morning. She has the heart of Goethe and the profile of Napolean. Her linguistic prowess rivals that of any Oxford educated professor. Take her course and banish ennui!

Were I to describe Elizabeth Kuhn in one word, that word would undoubtedly be: sublime. Her intellectual prowess reigns in this course on ethnography, and she makes grammatical instruction feel like witty repartee. She enthralls me with each word; she captivates me with each movement;--each nervous giggle about punctuation makes me love language.

Nice teacher, tries her best to be helpful when asked. extremely unsure of her self & what she wants. Most times will answer a question about what she wants & will reply saying "I think" Asks for certain things that she is unsure of. Will grade almost strictly on her feelings on topic will give B if impressed by paper, but unkowlegeable on topic

I thought she was a great professor. If you put time into the papers you will do well. She is also extremely understanding and open to almost any topic...If you enjoy creative writing, do it in this class, she likes that.
