Lori is wonderful to go to for any questions for starting off sewing, unfortunately for my class I ended up spending $30 on a book that we did not even use! I recommend getting a rental or using the in class book. Additionally they are a kinda strict on lab hours as well, do not skip them!

She is rather quirky, but breaks everything down for you. If you are still confused you can always ask her. Not a hard class to pass as long as you show up to class and lab

A lot of people get upset because she has to over explain things or she seems distracted, but that's because 235 is always a big class of people who are just learning how to sew. There's a limited tome to teach a lot of students, and at least half of them are really salty about taking this class.

335 is not a hard class so long as you are proficient at using a sewing machine. You expand on what you learned in 235. You won't need the textbook, but you do need to take notes when you learn things like buttons and zippers. There are a few projects you work on for your grade. There is no lab for this class, which is great.

What a wierdo, she definitely thinks everything has to do with her, she is only helpful (and i use that loosely) when she's you advisor. If you ever have to take her, good luck, I hope the way she talks and HOW she talks doesn't upset you.

She was very organized and clear when it came to assignments and how to do something in the shop. She was nice and fair and she was always enthusiastic about her job. I enjoyed her as a teacher
