Do NOT take this Professor. On the first day he Brags about how many students dont pass his class and how he has a 80% fail rate. He makes the final worth way too much of the final grade its nearly impossible to pass. Hardest class Ive ever taken.

Dont miss class, take good notes, do the extra credit that is offered, invest in flash cards, study and you will be fine. Do less than this, dont expect to pass. Professor Bohon is very informative and his class is interesting.

I strongly strongly advise to pay attention in this class. Do not skip make sure you are on point with everything. Flash cards are the key to passing this class. Probably goes down as one of the hardest Professors Ive taken.

Professor Bohon speaks quickly and often does not reiterate essential material you will find on his exams, which is massively unhelpful without a textbook to reference, which means you will have no other point of reference besides your notes. His reviews and directions are often blunt and vague, leaving papers up to your interpretation.

Professor Bohon was a great teacher and he isnt bias. You really have to work for a good grade. People who drop his class or dont like his class are lazy students who dont want to learn. His lectures are very entertaining and he always make you think. Exams can be difficult but just study ahead of time. Buy some flashcards. Itll help. Trust me.

He's straightforward about what to expect in his class. 5 quizzes, readings, 2 essays, 2 books, and 1 final. Participation matters, but trust me, it's worth it. His lectures are so interesting and he teaches students very well: nonpartisan and professional. One of the best teachers I've ever had.

Professor Bohon is very straight forward. He tells you exactly what you need to do to succeed in his class. Flashcards are your best friend! Exams are taken directly from lectures, so make sure to have ALL the notes. Lastly, be ready to read... 2 books throughout the semester and an assigned article before each class session.

I really liked Prof. Bohon. He doesn't use a text book, so you really have to pay attention in class. DO NOT MISS A CLASS! If you listen and study you will pass. He doesn't stray from the power point/notes.

A very good professor. Thorough, detailed lectures with all the information you need to know. Some reading - articles, mostly - but not too bad. Cares about students, urges people to research transfer schools and such. Clear grading criteria. Most importantly for a political science professor, nonpartisan and professional! He's great and unbiased.

I learned SO MUCH with Bohon. His class is not easy but it is possible to get an A. Take all of his tips and advice, make flashcards, read the articles, do the extra credit. He seems stern at first, but he is very approachable and willing to help after class. I appreciated his unbiased approach to political science. Very professional! Great class!

Professor Bohon is a very smart teacher and I learned A LOT taking his political science class. I took mine as a summer course so the material was more condensed and within a smaller time period so it was harder, but not impossible. He is really clear on grading, and explains writing assignments well. Always answers any questions students have

Make sure you read the articles! You Must study the material but thankfully he tells you what he will test you on. The writing assignments are difficult didn't help much when asked either I got a C on both writing assignments.

This is not an easy class. Requires a lot of studying. Tests and quizzes are all based off of the lecture notes and reading assignments. Pretty difficult but he is super clear on what exactly he will be testing you on. Although I struggled in this class I learned a lot and oddly enough I enjoyed going to class since he makes lectures interesting

For PS-1:There is a lot to study but he is very clear with what he will put on the tests. Also, there are many reading assignments. We had 5 tests, 2 writing assignments, and 50 points extra credit opportunity. He dropped the lowest test. The writing assignments are very difficult. Highest score in class for the second writing assignment: 190200.

Professor Bohon does not share his opinion which makes his class interesting. His lectures are informative and he wants students to participate. In order to get a pass his quizzes make flashcards. There are 200+ words you need to know by the end of the semesterquarter. Overall great professor and very knowledgeable about Politics.

The test are incredibly easy as long as you read the Atlantic Monthly articles. His lectures are funny and really make you think about whats right and whats wrong. I had a lot of fun and studied a fair amount of time. But watch out for his papers, hes tough on grammer.

One of the best professors I have had at Chaffey! He keeps students up to date on important things happening on campus and he teaches exactly what will be on the tests! Go to class , take good notes, and MAKE FLASHCARDS!
