Well, if you can get past the thick accent, publicly disparaging remarks towards students falling short of her expectations, and her superiority complex ("You may call me Doctor"...you'll probably pass..not a hard class, though a dry subject matter... I highly recommend not taking her because she can lowering your morale and enthusiasm.

Yeah, the accent is heavy but you learn to live with it and she isn't self-conscious about it if you ask her to clarify. Not the most thrilling lectures, but the material is pretty dry to begin with. Show interest and she'll make it more interesting.

She's a nice professor, but her accent is sometimes hard to understand when she's giving lecture. She offers some extra credit and her test are multiple choice. She is willing to answer any questions and gives you the benefit of the doubt if theres a problem with your scantron. A group oral presentation is required.

Prof. Durukan's was nothing new to me since I took AP Government during my Sr. year of HS but I loved her insights on American politics from a non-Amerocentric perspective.Sweet lady, only one group paper; four exams. An Easy "A". At times she taught what the establishment wanted her to teach.
