She can be a tough grader regarding participation, so be sure to come to class and participate as much as you can or your grade WILL suffer. It can be really stressful, especially if you do bad on a quiz (they hold a lot of weight). However, if you do the hw every night and raise your hand often, it is pretty easy. Just takes some time to adjust

Dra. Ossa is amazing. She really makes you work for your grade, but if she sees that you're trying hard, she'll go easy on you. Very knowledgeable about Latin American culture. Make sure you attend all classes because participation matters a lot to her.

I really enjoyed going to my spanish class seeing that Dr. Ossa made it enjoyable and easy. She is very easy to talk to and thoroughly cares about each and every one of her students. Not the hardest class but work is still required, I recommend taking her.

Dra. Ossa is the best professor I've had at La Salle. She is a smart, powerful woman. If you can't handle that, don't bother. Do your work and do it well. Whether you are a Spanish major/minor or not, take your education seriously.If you want to learn what life has to give, take Ossa.

One of my favorite teachers!.. if you are in the class to learn spanish and you are interested in it than you will find her classes very useful. She is also not an extremely tough grader. If you do not do well on the quizes there are other ways to do well!

The name of the course is Advanced Conversation and Composition; hence, there will be some Spanish spoken on the first day. STOP COMPLAINING! Dr. Ossa is by far one of the best teachers I have had at LaSalle. She is concise and knowledgable. She will expect alot from you, but if your taking 201-202 or 301-302, you should be able to keep up.

Dr. Ossa is super!She challenges you to really know your stuff but at the same time moves at a really easy pace. She uses the board and provides really useful information. She's very patient and encouraging. She helps out with Latino groups on campus too. She really cares about the students and their education. I would recommend taking her class.

Professor Ossa is the best spanish teacher I ever had. She speaks clearly and makes class fun and interesting. She is strict with hw but it prepares u for tests. She really cares about her students and is seriously always there to help. Take her if you have the chance.

Doctor Ossa is awesome. The class activities are helpful and she is a very clear teacher. Her knowledge of the Latin American cultures is incredible and I would definitely reccomend taking her class!
