Comment:

Dr. Jolley is one of the best professors I have ever had. You have to put work into your essays to get an A, but it is not impossible. One great thing about him is even if he disagrees with your paper topic, he will still grade you fairly as long as you have evidence to back up your claims! He is very funny and warm hearted. DEFINITELY recommend!

Professor Jolley is AWESOME!!! Four Papers, not 4th Hour, cancels class A LOT. Best FYS Teacher EVER. Read the books and be in the loop on class discussions. even if you don't they are still so entertaining. Take his advice on wring papers. Hard to get an A, but great class

I love Professor Jolley! Everything said about him is good. He tries to be funny. He cancels class. His tests are easy if you keep up with reading. This was my first philosophy class ever and he made it very worthwile!

Professor Jolley is the best! It's hard to get registered for his classes because everyone loves him but if you can, take him! Cancels class a lot. Essay topics are never hard. Class discussions are actually fun.

Great teacher and amazing guy! He really takes an interest in everyone of his students. He can be a hard grader, but if you do the papers you will be fine. He engages students in topics that will make them think on a deeper level in, but does it in a way (somehow) that never offends anyone. Dr. Jolley is by far my favorite teacher here.

He is one of the easier FYS profs I think. Only 4 essays. He likes if you relate them to whatever the FYS theme is for the semester. Doesnt like to give A's, at least not until later in the semester. Isnt really helpful. Gives vague suggestions for improving your papers. Still I'd recommend him. Extra credit opportunities.

Dr. Jolley is sucn an AWESOME professor! He has a great personality that makes those long T/R classes bearble. I've learned more in this class then I thought I would! He is very easy going and understanding...not to mention funny. If he tauhgt another class I'd take it just b/c he's THAT good!

Dr. Jolley is cool. He does have a sense of humor. but the bad thing abut him is that he gave us a take home test where we had to write 3 two paged answer to some questions he made up. then he assigned a six to eight page paper for us to do. But he cancels class a little because of his schedule so ?
