She is the best professor I have had, she cares about all of her students like her own. She cares about you and your success and I thought her class was not very hard. Minimal homework but there is some online.

She is the sweetest person you will ever meet! However her thoughts are kinda all over the place, which can make learning confusing. If you ask for help she will help you in anyway she knows how. She assigns quite a bit of homework. Its more time consuming than it is difficult

Mrs. Gruenwald is extremely nice, caring, and always willing to help if you don't understand. If you learn in a very organized and straightforward manner, I do not necessarily recommend her. She can be a bit scatterbrained, but has the biggest heart. Homework is a little time consuming, but not terribly difficult.

Comment:

Mrs. Gruenwald is one of the greatest professors at USI. She truly cares about her students and wants you to succeed. The class isn't easy, but she explains the topics well and is accessible outside of class to answer questions. 5 tests and a final, 2 projects, online homework and optional textbook homework. I could not more highly recommend her.

GREAT teacher! She really wants you to succeed. She makes sure to know your name and she loves to get to know you. Her class is not hard if you pay attention and try to understand. 5 tests over each chapter and the final. You have my mathlab homework, but it isnt bad. She is awesome, take her!

very scatter brained, she is such a sweet lady but often makes a lot of mistakes while working examples and if you aren't good at math like I am it can be very confusing. there is a lot of online homework but is all do at once before the test

I hate math, but this class was easy to understand and a lot of fun. Understand how to use a graphing calculator before the class and you will be ahead of everyone. A lot of homework but it is not hard. Keep up on homework and you will be fine!

Such a sweet professor! Her tests aren't hard if you do the homework. Anytime you needed help she was quick to respond. Would highly recommend her for any math course!!

Good teacher! Loves to send weekend emails to check up on students, absolutely loves students and her boys! Class wise she can be hard to follow, doesn't collect homework so mostly test points and weekly progress reports, gives extra credit. Easy A for someone who understands math pretty well.

Comment:

One of the sweetest professors USI has to offer. She truly cares about her students and loves to incorporate math in life. Her grading can be tough at times, but if you show up and pay attention you will pass with ease. Do the progress reports every Monday and it is practically extra points.

She is always there for you no matter what, and she wants you to come to her with any questions you have. She does not teach the first chapter which is geometry so be prepared to self study. Her notes are beyond scattered and do not flow at all. If you are good at math, take her because you will get an A no problem. She gives extra credit!

Mrs. Gruenwald is great! She makes math easy. Though she can be a bit confusing when she get going fast she covers everything in generous time and explains everything multiple ways. Math is tough but with Mrs. Gruenwald you have fun. A side note, if she can, she comes to class early and chats outside the room :) Her stories make math applicable.

Mrs. Gruenwald is an awesome teacher. I took her hybrid class. It was super easy all homework was done online. It was work at your on pace but she would push everyone in the class if you started to get behind. She will help you as long as you ask.

did not teach me anything. suppose to teach me HOW to teach math, instead she showed us stuff I did in 7th grade all semester. ridiculous. tests were NOTHING like what we talked about in class.
