Just finished my degree at UTK and want to say that Prof Jenkins prepared me for all my classes. I was the only one in my Intermediate Marketing class who knew how to write a research paper. She's the best!

One of the hardest graders I've ever had. I was miserable the whole semester. When answering a question and it isn't exactly what she wanted to hear she will put you on blast in front of the whole class. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I would never take a class from Margaret Jenkins. If you do, I feel your pain. She is very rude. She will pick you out of the class and bully you and then if you did good on a paper (getting help from writing center) she will give you a D. Its a fact.

I tried so hard in this class. English is my subject and I've always done well, but as hard as I tried and only missed one class the whole semester, I still got a C. If you don't show up to class you are out of luck and don't even try to ask a question because you are sure to be ridiculed. For your own sanity pick a different teacher.

All but 2 quizzes were announced. She gives plenty of handouts and help in her office. Students who are rude and arrogant probably do not like her. I showed up and asked for help and got a B+. Would take her again.

She is actually the worst teacher on the planet. I am 100% sure she gets her joy by embarrassing her students. She grades things on the projector and calls you out for doing something incorrectly even though you asked for clarity. No matter what question you ask her, "It's in the syllabus." Her classes are just rants about current events.

I had her for English 1010 AND 1020. Tough but fair, she treats her students like adults. If you read ALL of the assignments and stay on top of the syllabus schedule you will fare well. She actually TEACHES her students and expects you to learn. If you are just looking to check this class off your list she is not for you. Lazy students beware.

By far, top 3 of the worst professor I ever had. It is clearly said in other ratings that she will humiliate your intelligence (very true) and is VERY unclear on assignments, I have always been excellent in English, I understand what a challenge is, this class was not a challenge, it was a joke. I advise against her by al means.

Nice enough teacher, but when it comes to papers she's not helpful. Her classes are usually rants about whatever is in the news and it's hard to pay attention. Getting feedback on papers is the hardest thing to do from her... she mostly laughs in your face rather than explaining. I strongly advise taking a different teacher for English Comp.

This teacher is hard to understand and doesn't try to make herself understandable. if you ask any question shell tell you to look in the syllabus. if you have this professor I suggest you get a new teacher. her papers are very hard and test are even harder. if I didn't know better I would've thought I was going to Yale

I am unsure as to who most of you are talking about, but the teacher I had was horrific. I have never made below a B on a paper, but in this class I struggled to make a C- on any of my papers. To add insult to injury she acts as if your intelligence is laughable. She does not seem to care about her students or how well they do, or what they learn.
