She is a professor that will give you that real talk. She does not mess around, but she cares about the well being of her students. She really makes you go over essays. Thats pretty much how she grades. She lectures what content and format will be needed to incorporate in your essays. Pay attention, Take notes, participate, work hard.

Don't take her. I have always been a great student in all my English classes, and she was the one to change that. I would take each of my essays to the writing center (twice) and it still wasn't enough .

I took one of Dr. V's class a while back and honestly, she's a tough teacher. She can be a tough grader, and I remember not feeling too sure about her lectures, but if you communicate with her, she is always willing to help you and is a very fair teacher. Take her if you want to really learn the material, but don't think she's an easy pass class.

Dr. V is a great teacher. She is a hard teacher. She will push you to do your best, but in the end it is worth it. I would love to take her class again. Dont take her class if you are a lazy person.

I took Dr. V's class for two years, ENG 098 and ENG 110. For the two years I had her, I learned so many things. She really enjoys her job and I appreciate that about her. At first, she will seem mean, but throughout the semester, she is a chill teacher. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO TAKE HER CLASS!!!

She is a very hared grader when it comes to essays and will not explain what you could have done better. She has you do to much work as well as go to the English writing center,if you don't go that will be 10% deducted from your grade on each essay. I would not recommend taking her unless you are ready to be challenged. She only gives out C

Tough class because it's either you know it or you don't.. Lots of busy work, two hours of in class time an most of it is busy work or the teacher getting off topic rambling on. 1 or 2 essays given a week, super specific criteria. Recommend a different teacher because she's happy to help you on your time but in class is just for busy work & rabling

She wasn't exactly what you call a "good" teacher. Don't get me wrong, shes got passion and knowledge and shes worked extremely hard to get were she is. Class started at 32, when the deadline came to drop class there was like 6 people left. I would probably never take her class again. Shes a good person has a kind heart but doesn't teach well.

Her grading is out of control, we aren't professionals but yet acts like we should know all the ways to write.do not take this class if you work, because she thinks you should only live and breath for english while in her class. But she is nice, I will give her that.

She is a very helpful teacher in my opinion and very nice. Her grading is fair as long as you make am effort to do your work and turn them in on time although there was an essay due every week. Does talk about life a lot but in connecting good ways. I would recommend taking Ms. Vamblaricom

She was nice.. Talked slot but nice.. Grading wise okay.. The essays were a lot.. They were not hard but there was a writing assignment due almost every week.. But I mean it was English class :). Over all she's a good teacher.. She TRIES being funny which ends up making you laugh anyway. Well I would really recommend her great overall teacher

I love this professor. She explained everything clearly and makes you think about your writing. The smallest things you take out of her class help you on a daily basis. One of the best english teachers. She is hard, but its the kind of hard that makes you learn and makes you interested in the topics!
