Bloom is the greatest professor ever! I had him for Science for Elementary Teachers and it was the most interesting class I've ever taken. Not easy necessarily, but interesting. I loved coming to class. He really cares about his students and tries to put everything into terms you can understand. He's the reason I still want to teach

contemporary issues in biology 2008. He had us sell our books back at the beginning of the year. Awesome professor!! He actually sang a Britney Spears song and danced at one point, which was hilarious.

Take contemporary issues in biology with Bloom! It has to be the best lab science at TCU. Pay attention in class because he explains the notes really well. He's really down to earth and absolutely hilarious. He offers extra credit opportunities. There is no book but read the lab readings.

Dr. Bloom was by far my fave professor this semester! We all have him to thank for the new easier test formats! He is so funny, and really makes the class interesting. I never minded going! The tests are multiple choice and fairly easy- but you still need to study! Take him!!!!

Mr. Bloom is by far my favorite teacher! He is hilarious and teaches in a way that sticks with you. (ex: diffusion=dog farts!) If you've taken him...you get it! If not...you have to find out! He's not bad to look @ several days a week either! He is a MUST TAKE!!!!

Bloom is an awesome teacher! He is hilarious and takes what i thought was gonna be a boring class and really made it interesting. No book! 4 tests that are pretty tricky, and quizzes everyday, but the Bloom makes it worth it to take his class

the funniest teacher i've ever had. he truly makes class interesting but the tests can be sort of tricky. if you're thinking about taking contemporary issues, take it with Bloom, for sure.

I've never laughed so much in a class before. His lectures are great, but make sure you read the article every night because there is a quiz almost every lecture. The tests are detailed ("which is false...") questions but if you do the review you'll be fine. Totally fun guy and class.

I would definatley take Bloom!This class may seem difficult at first because the tests are very specific, but it gets easier. Biggest advice: GO TO CLASS! You have a reading quiz every class which are 2 questions, very easy but you must be there for it to count--it makes a difference in the end!

interesting guy; makes lectures fun. but not exactly easy to study all the material for exam. if u dont mind memorising facts, u shud do well in exams. do the labs and readings for quizzes. shud be easy. if u dont like biology and memorising, this is not the class for u.
