Comment:

Dr. Sciutto is a great professor and is passionate about stats, but is NOT understanding about any situation ever. He doesn't give out extensions for any reason, he is unwilling to negotiate and is overall not a good human being. Sure, his class might be great, but if you have any hesitations, DON'T DO IT.

Comment:

Dr. Sciutto is THE best psychology professor I had at Berg. His passion for teaching & compassion for the students are unmatched. He was my thesis advisor, as well as my teacher for other classes (like PSY330) and I loved each of them-despite their difficulty. Most importantly, he truly took the time to get to know me as an individual.

Comment:

Professor Sciutto is really nice and totally willing to work with you. His class has a lot of readings due sometimes twice a week and if you dont do them, you wont pass his class. However, it is do-able and if you put in the work you can easily pass his class. The tests are fair and he tells you what to study. I would recommend him to anyone

Great professor. A great guy all around very funny lectures and also super clear and easy to understand. His tests are hard but he tells you what to study. Recommend

I still don't like statistics, but it is not because of anything he has done. He tries to make it as interesting as stat can be and is very willing to help outside of class. Sometimes he does give vague answers though so you may need to ask him the same question more than once

Dr. Sciutto is a hard teacher. Even though this was an intro course it felt very advanced. There were long readings from the book twice a week, and if you didn't do them you were a goner in class. He's willing to help his students if you go to ask. Overall, if you're up for the challenge, good luck.

Terrified of Psych Stats before taking it with him. Don't take this class if you don't want to do work, but he's such a great teacher that if you do the work you'll do fine. One of the most helpful and caring profs I've ever had.

Comment:

He's an excellent professor. Humor is awesome, but his primary reason is for you to learn, a lot, for the future. Very, very thorough, and psych stats is a very difficult class to those with issues in math, so if you're one of them, attend workshops and get a tutor and it'll be okay.

He is one of the best psych. professors at MC! I would recommend him for any course, I learned so much from him. I had his class on friday and I didn't even mind going because he kept me interested and always used great learning tools to help me remember everything. HE'S AWESOME! If you are a psych. major,you NEED have him at least once!!

He is amazing. He is probably the best I've had at MC. Hes very fair, freindly, and very clear wit the material he presents. He is also hilarious, if you have a sarcastic, dry humor. I cannot contain myself in class while he keeps a straight face.
