This class was SO easy to do well in, so if that's what you're looking for, Wierman is for you. However, he is not that great of a professor. I paid attention to a total of 3 classes.

Human Computer Interaction is the easiest upper level CSC / certified writing credit available. Very fun, interesting class. Need to put some effort into the assignments, but if you put any in you will get a B or B+ ... basically the class is set up as a fun course where everyone gets a B+. Interesting material, not a ton of feedback though.

professor wierman is a super easy grader, however he does a poor job explaining the material and is not very helpful when answering questions. i hardly ever understood what was going on in this class and still managed to get an A. as long as you put something down on the tests, he gives you almost full credit. avoid if you actually want to learn!

First day of class my entire class was sitting in there he walked in and didn't even know he was teaching the class. Homework and labs are easy, but I still have a B for some reason. Just don't ask any questions or he will make you feel like you're an idiot. If you're taking for science credit take him, if you're taking to learn comp science don't.

He rambles alot and complains about vista for a large part of the class but is always willing to help. Ask specific questions before the tests and he ends up giving test questions and what you have to have on them. Easy to get along with. Good to take if you have no experience with programing and just need the science core

He is teaching this Java class and does not normally code in Java, but C# and he makes sure we all know it every class period. In Java, he doesn't go into much depth while explaining the concepts, but assumes we know what he is talking about.

Dr. Wierman is a really nice and funny guy. He's really laid-back and will try his bes to explain concepts. His Godel, Escher, Bach Honors class was very math-oriented, but still pretty interesting. I had a good time with it and definitely would take it again.

He is my advisor and my teacher for this class (2 more next semester too). He is nerdy but hilarious. He is easy to get along with, good at explaining difficult concepts and helpful on computer programs. I love this guy.

Condescending. Lectures are mostly PowerPoint slides with little relavent explanation and a lot of irrelavent side notes. Doesn't seem to fully know the material but has "I don't know it, but I could learn it if I wanted" attituded.

Fantastic teacher! This guy knows his stuff, so if you're having trouble, just ask! He may seem tough, but he will really take the time with you if you just don't understand.

Good teacher, knows what he is talking about. Finals and programs are moderately hard and involve alot of studying and obscure problems can be incredibly frustrating.
