The best English prof I ever had. It's been years since I took his 102 class, and I now have an MA, but this is the guy who taught me to write. He really has a knack for helping students who are afraid of writing learn to actually enjoy it. Thanks!

Be prepared to learn nothing about business writing. You'll walk out knowing that he's friends with the guy who wrote the text and that he writes book reviews for the Salt Lake Tribune in Utah. Papers have nothing to do with class and it's a waste of time.

I like the way he brought in a lot of other subjects, like ethics, psychology, sociology, history, literature. He reminded us that learning shouldn't be narrow, that all learning is connected, and that we undervalue ourselves when he think narrowly.

Great sense of humor. Extremely intelligent. Easygoing, which some students mistake for easy, but he's not. Introduces difficult concepts but makes them easy to understand. Great teacher. Best in college, I think.

He has a very interesting approach to teaching that I liked a lot. He doesn't believe in grades, but has to give them and most likely you will get an A even if you try a little bit. He is the best college comp teacher to get. SOOOO EASY!
