Standard college format. 3 exams based on filling in study guides. 1 large 50-minute course presentation on a current IT topic. Select one of the early presenting topics, get it done, and coast the rest of the course. Overall an easy class if you're used to basic college standards.

Comment:

I found the tests overly specific, to the point of having to memorize percentages from assigned reading (mostly dry academic research articles). I found a lot of the info to be dated, and felt there was a bias towards her own work. Did not enjoy this class and even though I studied hard, got low scores on the tests. Would not recommend.

Comment:

Great professor! She really knows her stuff. Class was 5 saturdays and the rest online. Biggest part of grade was group presentation. As long as you put the time in and meet all the requirements on the grading sheet, you'll do perfectly fine. Made 3 tests available, but only two count, so if you don't do well on one, you can drop the lowest grade!

This teacher is a great lecturer. She is very up to date on topics pertaining to information systems. Its pretty easy, but you should go to class and listen because it is a joy.

Her expertise in this field and her ability to communicate this knowledge is well appreciated. This was a great class. The number of webinars and class room sessions was an excellent balance.

I have taken 2 classes with Dr Lacity and I have learned more relivent things from her than all of my other classes combined. She's very knowledgeable, great experience she can apply to her classes, passionate, and really takes an interest in her students to help them get the most out of her class. I would take another class with her in a second!

Tolerable! It's nearly impossible to ask her any questions, as she is self-absorbed. While she is a passionate lecturer, she is more interested in promoting her current textbook, which you'll have to drudge through...She is primarily concerned with her research endeavors rather than her students.

I highly recommend this professor! She makes lectures interesting. She doesn't force you to buy a book, but instead uses recent articles you can print from home. You have to do a lot of reading & studying, but if do your homework, you can easily get an A.

The worst professor I have ever had...undergrad or grad. She humiliates students in class and doesn't really care about student learning. She is only concerned with promoting her research endeavors. Take this course if you are interested in outsourcing
