Comment:

Absolutely the worst professor I've had at Canisius. Be prepared to be forced to buy books that she has written. She makes you cite discussions based on information/text she provided and WROTE- so she should know where the info comes from. Rude and inflexible. She does not provide much instruction on projects that count as much of your grade.

Comment:

I've taken plenty of online classes before. This one felt not a lot of instruction was actually given. She was however prompt at responding to emails for help. If you're in the lit program you will have her more than once it's unavoidable, she the head of the department and I believe the only full time professor.

The modules were set up in a very confusing manner. Mary's ideas were scatterbrained everywhere. There was also an unrealistic amount of reading. Many of us take online classes because we have full time jobs. I skimmed most readings because I didn't have time to read 200+ pages of textbooks and lengthy uninteresting articles each week.
