Lets just say I walked in to this class hating english and walked out loving it. She is very straight forward and gives clear details of what you need to pass and write good papers. No textbook needed. She gives great feedback. I do believe her lectures and taking her advice helped me pass this class. Take her class, you will not regret it!!

Take her class you will not regret it. If you do all the work, show up to class every day you will pass. If you don't, well don't expect an "A". Mrs. La-vallee explains everything in detail, she is clear and straight forward, in a funny way almost feels as if she holds your hand at times. She absolutely cares for her students!! Most awesome person.

She is a really good teacher. If you don't show up to class she sends you an email to ask about you. She's caring :) I recommend you talk to her. She's very open and 100% helpful. You learn a lot from her trust me. she responds to any email within an hour or less. she goes over things you will be learning in English 1A so that's nice. TAKE HER! :)

Doesn't require a textbook, instead a work packet. All in-class/homework assignments come from it. She makes it virtually impossible to fail her class. Do the homework and papers and you'll pass. If you're never in class, or always late she will notice and get annoyed. Gives great feedback on ALL of your writing, and is really caring.

There is no way you won't pass her class. Unless, your just being lazy and not trying at all. She is very nice and super helpful. SHE DOES NOT LIKE CELL PHONES!! As long as you aren't using it during class everything is ok. NO LATE WORK IS ACCEPTED. Overall, you will learn from her class and if not she makes herself availble when she can.
