Merle the best teacher I have ever had. He is patient with you and willing to help as much as possible. His goal is for you to understand the material and be successful. He is extremely friendly and class is never boring. I wish I could take more of his classes!

Merle is very intelligent! Yes, he jokes in class a lot but he knows what he is doing! I took a lot from his class. For those who commented and said that he doesn't know what he is talking about he built the first commuter for the ECG. He can do calculus in his sleep. He is awesome! Don't expect on the job training in school! Won't happen...duh!

I had him for simple math, but he is fantastic and always wants to help. He is hilarious and makes the whole class laugh every time. Good guy. I would love to take him in the future for other classes, but he is retired now and only does one or two classes. Just use the tools he gives you to learn and show up and you will be fine.

Gave me a "D" in Heat Transfer 2 just because I was pissed at him for not teaching hardly anything in that class. I got an "A" in Heat Transfer 1 with ease. Now what does that tell you? He knows nothing but BULL!! Thats how he got his job! I have an engineering job now and I have learned from experience that Merle didn't teach what he should have!

Yeah Merle is funny as hell, but that person is right he doesn't have an engineering degree and this class it really showed. Yes you can solve alot of things wwith a math degree but "explaining" dynamics takes a little more. I got a decent grade but didn't learn much. OH WELL it over now right?

One of the hardest instructors I had at FSC but the material wasn't easy either. I never had any problems with him and I would recommend this instructor to anyone. You have to pay attention and do your work or you will fail that is for sure.
