Dr. Carter's teaching style elicits feedback from his students. You'd be smart to stay engaged, take good notes and participate often. He presents information in a current and relevant fashion, stays on topic and sidebars as needed. He's upbeat, positive and really wants his students to succeed. Dr. Carter is an interesting guy. I'll be honest, he can initially come off as brash and a bit condescending, BUT once he gets to know you and sees that you're interested and making a genuine effort, he can be extremely helpful. His tests are a bit unclear but he offers plenty of EC. Participate and be RESPECTFUL and attentive and you'll get an A.

He is a great teacher. It just took some time for me to realize how knowledgable he is.I am thankfull to GCC for giving me a chance to enjoy the class of this intelligent professor. Dr. Carter is a great professor! I got an A in the class and really enjoyed it. Don't bother buying the book because you don't even use it. All his tests are based on the notes he writes on the board and the movies so PAY ATTENTION (HINT: don't be disrespectful, it is his pet peeve...seriously)

ok hes a very knowledgable man. very straight out. if you dont take notes your in trouble. HIS TESTS ARE FROM HIS NOTES!! Be very respectful in his class cuz he will embarass you if you are talking. Tests are all memorization no critical thinking easy class just got to show up shut up and take notes.

Prof. Carter is a pro. He is one of the best. His teacing is a life long learning. His expectation is high, which is good. He is helpful and encourage us to think. I strongly recommend his class. His grading is fair. He is very strick with those who come to school to spend time texting in the classroom. If you really want to learn, he is the best.

He is a very intelligent professor, & one of the best. He cares more about teaching you & making sure you learn something from his class than anything else. The class consists of his lectures (write down and study whats on the board) and videos. The book is not necessary & make sure you sit close to the front, cuz he tends to speak softly. Cheetos!

O.K. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. PROFESSOR CARTER IS INTERESTING. I DID NOT CARE FOR THE CLASS. HIS LECTURES WERE O.K PAY ATTENTION AND TAKE NOTES BECAUSE HIS TESTS ARE HARD. THERE ARE SEVERAL 4 PART QUESTIONS AND IF YOU MISS A PART THE WHOLE THING IS WRONG. HE IS VERY INTELLIGENT BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM.
