The quality of your experience will depend on the engagement level of your classmates. When the class is willing to go all in, and participate in group discussion - this course is fun and interesting. If you make Kim carry the lecture all on her own the pace slows and it gets a little dry. For the most part, we kept it EPIC.

I really enjoyed Kim's teaching. The class can be a little dry and boring to get through. Kim tries really hard to make sure everyone understands it. The tests are easy and I didn't have to study to do well. She is easily understand on late work and test makeups.

Kim makes the class fun. I will admit I wasn't to excited about taking this class when I first started, but you do learn a lot and she does make it interesting. Be prepared to read a bunch, and write papers. I do feel she is fair on her grading.

I enjoy this class and I don't even like sociology. Kim is very passionate about the material and makes it easy to relate to. As long as you state the way you interpret the material you get credit. Heavy reading, but overall it's an easy A.

Very nice and helpful teacher! Passionate about the subject, and does her best to make the material easy and relateable for everyone in the class. Often calls on students to give personal observations and insights. Exams were easy! With extra credit I had an A before the final.

Kim is an awesome teacher. She loves teaching and it shows in her class. I found the class to be pretty easy but you have to show up. Her tests come straight from her study guides. LOVED the class. It is very interesting.

I thought this teacher was very nice, but she was very unclear when giving notes which made it hard to follow along in class.She allows plenty of extra credit and allows you to turn in assignments late which is nice and you have to attend her class and study for the tests, and it wouldn't be a bad class if she could organize her note giving.
