Dr. Green is amazing, I absolutely loved taking his class! I am not a big fan of American history because of hearing about it for so long, but he made it very enjoyable. He is so cool about assignments not being on time if you have a lot going on, he also gives out extra credit opportunities every single week, which is really cool.

He's an amazing funny guy. He just lectures but does not give exams. His "exams" are "non-exams" that you're able to take home for about a week or two. Plus, if you need more time on a paper, all you have to do is email him and he will say yes, as long as you tell him a day in advance and not the night it's due

Very lecture heavy class, although it gets kind of boring. Also the professor is fun and flexible with grading, he does a great job at keeping the class interested through jokes. Attendance is not required and the textbook is not used much because the lectures cover the same material.

Professor Green is okay. 4 TA for the discussion section, had Steele. He cool. But participation matters in his class You take notes and exams in the lecture. In discussion you take all the quizzes and discuss the required books. Have to do writing projects which are due every exam date. Take good notes! I dislike history so class was boring AF!

Professor Green is a great guy. He knows he's teaching a not so exciting subject and does his absolute best to make it as interesting as possible. He offers basically unlimited extra credit throughout the semester, so if you don't do so hot on the tests (which are easy) you can make it up through that. Overall really liked the class.

Dr. Green's lectures were really amazing to attend. During certain lectures they were a bit on the boring side but as long as you take good notes and attend each lecture you will be good. All of the grading was done by the TAs which was based off of 3 written assignments and 3 unit exams. There is extra credit provided which I would suggest you do.

Dr. Green made learning history very entertaining. We were assigned 3 essays and had 3 tests. For the discussion section, we were given content and map quizzes. As long as you pay attention to the lectures, take good notes, and read the assigned books, you'll do great!

His lectures are funny and seems like a genuine guy. His TA's do all of his grading, quizzes, etc. Honestly, if you do well in the discussions, you should do fine in the actual class. Attendance and participation matters during the weekly discussions and make sure you do your reading in order to contribute.

Green just runs the lectures and then your TA will do all your grading. He gives good lectures, but there is really no point to attend them. Tests are passable without the lectures. The only important thing in this class is showing up to the TAs discussion and doing their work. Should be an easy A if you can deal with your TA.

Absolutely hilarious - best professor I've had at UNLV. I love American history & knew/know so much - but he gives what textbooks/research/mediocre teachers don't: perspective - THAT IS WHAT HELPS YOU UNDERSTAND HISTORY! 3 tests w/ 3 SMALL essays & guest speakers!TAKE HIM & get James Steele as his TA! Here's your "well-deserved pepper", Dr. Green.

Dr. Green is extremely considerate! As long as everything was turned in by the final exam date, it didn't matter if things were late. There were a lot of assignments throughout but they weren't hard. The lectures are funny, but you don't need to take notes because there weren't any tests based off of them. I also never cracked the textbooks!
