Comment:

This professor is an insult to people who actually suffered real discrimination as she trivialized the entire issue with her shallow examples and her inappropriate display of emotions. She had no input whatsoever into addressing discrimination. There was nothing intellectual about the seminar, but only sheer guilt and shallowness.

She's a really great teacher. I think I learned more in this class than any of my other education classes. I only used the textbook a few times but it is a good resource to have.

if u didnt learn anything from her, u werent paying attention.the stories of her experiences are probably better then what we could have learned from a book. she is very knowledgeable&passtionate about what she teaches. All the block classes are a heavy work load,its not the teachers its the class! if you cant handle it, change ur major

I had a terrible semester in this class. Classes were unorganized, and the information was dragged out to last the full 3 hours when it would only really need an hour. 3/4 of the semester we just sat there talking. It was a total waste of time and effort. I have learned absolutely nothing from this course.

I dont really know why she has the :( face.She knows alot about SPE and has a lot of interesting stories that keeps the 3 hr classes interesting. She is always willing to help and can clarify any confusion.The work is about the same as any other SPE class, a little easier I thought. Dr. Marable is an awesome teacher. I def. recommend taking her

I absolutely loved classes with Dr. Marable. She taught fun and interesting classes and helped me whenever possible! I now have a teaching contract in Special Ed back at home and I am loving it. A day doesn't go by when I reflect on something I learned.

Dr. Marable is one of the best professors I have ever had -- she taught me things as an undergrad that were in my Graduate classes. She's awesome!!!
