Hardest 2 exams I ever took in college. Both at 35% of my grade. STUDY YOUR NOTES. The tests have maybe 5 multiple choice and the rest is open ended. However, he is very passionate and cares about his students success. Not hard to understand at all. Has plenty of office hours. Participate, treat him with respect, study, and you will pass.

Dr. ROH is an extremely caring professor. The nature of Hospitality is having a good attitude and working hard. He's not there to hold our hand. He's there to challenge us to become our own person. I really respect him as a professor. It's not what you know that important but Who. I would definitely take him again.

One of the most rude profs I have ever had. Was passive aggressive in emails and would not help me when I tried to set up a meeting with him. Definitely would not recommend, was not an environment to learn at all! Very unhelpful and did not get excited for this class at all.

ROH is the rudest prof I have ever had. He doesn't teach you anything about the industry that you dont already know. That is most likely because he doesn't have any real life experience in the industry!! He acts like he knows it all but in reality he is making things up half of the time and just blabing about things that are not even relevant.

Projects at long and time consuming and they're worth .1 percent of your grade. Tests are worth a lot and he tells you to study his notes but don't because they don't help. i went to every class got 100s on my projects and still managed to do awful in the class. made me want to switch my major

Roh is amazing. People tend to only not like him because they don't take his class seriously or don't come to class/do the homework. He is a great teacher who is willing to take the time to help you learn. If you have ANY questions, he is very approachable and willing to help. Learned a lot even though the material was hard. Great professor.

Professor Roh is a nice guy and he really wants to see students succeed. He also tries his best to help his students with their work. His classes/tests are hard so you have to put in lots of effort to do well. He also passes out study guides and reviews the material before the exams. I worked hard and got a "C+" in HSA 447 and a "B" in HSA 546.

Dr. Roh how to explain this mans class. He's a short korean guy, he is very nice but sometimes in class its hard to understand him. YOU will spend 3weeks on one chapter because he tends to ramble about nothing dealing with the chapter. The Tests are extremely difficult.. its all essay form, he's a very hard grader. Try to Avoid him at all costs!

Not sure if the class number is right... but anyway. This guy talks a lot about how awesome he is. He is terrible. Useless class. I never opened the book and got a B in the class. I did not learn anything about hotels that I didn't already know. They are big, have rooms and elevators. Wow. Thanks for the good grade, but it was a waste of my time.

Dr. Roh is a great guy, but he is not a great professor. He doesn't teach you anything that will benefit you moving forward in this industry. If you don't do well on the two tests, you pretty much fail the class. But like I said, he is a great guy and really treats you with respect if you give it to him. He will definitely make you laugh as well

Dr. Roh is rude and feels no shame in sharing a student's grade with the ENTIRE class. Even with flawless attendance and pages of notes, he insists that you are lazy and do not pay attention. You can't understand a thing he says and then he blames you when you misunderstand an assignment or exam question.

I absolutely loved having Dr. Roh as a professor. He is hilarious and makes class fun to attend. Also...I think he is adorable..I want to box him up and put him on my bookshelf to keep forever. Hes just great and people must be delusional to think he is rude and unfair because he teaches well and is nothing but respectful and always smiling.

I really dont understand how anybody can have negative comments to say about Prof.Roh. I thought he was absolutely fantastic and I truly enjoyed attending his class. He is very passionate and experienced in the subject and yo can tell through his lectures. Personally, I think he is smart, respectful, helpful, and hilarious..one of my fav.professors

This class was a joke and I learned absolutely nothing. He was rude, very very unclear, and picked favorites. Anyone who wasn't a hospitality major was considered stupid and made to feel uncomfortable. He always gets off topic too. I don't know how he keeps his job because he definitely doesn't do it. Take anyone but him if you possibly can!

Without a doubt, he is the WORST professor I have ever had throughout my time at CMU. Class is not structured, he is EXTREMELY rude and condescending, and the grades seem to be arbitrarily chosen. DO NOT take him unless you absolutely have to. In addition to that all, he picks favorites and always goes until the last minute of class.

I completely agree that he favors certain students. I wasn't a hospitality major and he made me feel really uncomfortable at times because of it. Other than that he was a really nice guy that always tried to help if he could. You can tell that he cares about his students alot. The class was hard but he was helpful.
