EASY.. Went way off subject to explain material, thought he was funnier than he really was but def laid back. No textbook, all articles. Midterm and final were take homes. Attendance mandatory.Would recommend.

Comment:

Easy enough class. Mr. Langford talked more about himself that about the topic. Politcal Science 322: We had no book just articles off of the internet. The midterm and the final were very time consuming, each about 5-6 hrs. Not complaining though. No homework made up for the long tests and the A.

He is useless! You learn more from the book than from him! Case briefs are pointless b/c there is no feedback. Exams are take home, but take up to 10 hours each to complete. You have to look up each question and find it word for word in book. Paper is interesting, but also VERY time consuming! He refused to bump my grade from 89.95% to an A!!

Prof. Langford is awesome, an esay professor. Just have turn in six short briefs and you will get full credit. But also he has an essay brief, which is pretty easy, but the most time consuming is the two take home exams, pretty challenging and takes days to finish it, so don't procrastinate and the in-class final consist of 100 T/F questions.

Short classes, take home test (not too bad), easy briefs, and makes the subject exciting. He's funny and knows the law. Its simple do the work and you pass. Book is only 65 bucks that he wrote.

Book is clearly written by Mr. Langford and a good reference I will keep. Must go to class, mostly because there are case briefs do almost every week which are easy. Everything in his class is easy and straight forward, you just cant procrastinate on the take home tests because they require alot of time. Enjoyed his class.

He is one of the best Professors I've had in Criminal Justice. He makes you work hard, but is fair and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot in this class. If you're not lazy and want to go to law school I would take this class.

Worst teacher I've EVER had. Talks about himself way too much and about the subject way too little. Reads straight from the book he "wrote" and give absolutely ZERO feedback. Take home tests are unnecessarily difficult because you have to look up the answer to all 100-200 questions which takes forever. Don't recommend him & won't take him again

Mike Langford is probably one of the coolest professors I've had at Fullerton. He is very smart and his stories are just amazing. I looked forward to every class I went to. Fun teacher that knows his stuff, but you have to put your time in. Studying is a must for this class.

I would have to say that I went into this class excited b/c I want to be a lawyer and I praised God when I was finally done. All we did was listen to him read from the book he published and had us buy and made us play the same game over and over. The book taught me more then him and I couldn't understand him 1/2 the time. So glad it's over!

I can honestly say that Langford's class is the only class that I learned A LOT and wasn't pure regurgitation of the book. Don't be fooled by the take home exams, they take a few days to complete. It's kind of pointless to show up to class, just make sure to turn in your case briefs. Over all one of favorite professors.

He is weird and goofy, which makes you laugh sometimes. He is very easy. I only put in minimal effort in his class and still came away with an A. As long as you the HW and study for the tests, you'll get at least a B. And don't be afraid to ask him questions...he is one of those professors who seems to enjoy his job.

Likes to talk about himself, Hastings, Prized dogs, and how he makes the most money ever in the world! For his class...2 take home Tests that took myself 5 hours each to complete...very frustrating. Then a stupid essay that takes another 6 hours. Gives you answers to the final, and take home final essay is the same as other essay. its a bit easier.
