Prof. Keiser was a great teacher and I hope I get the opportunity to take another one of her classes. She really cared about the content she was teaching and I felt her and I vibed all trimester since it was a common interest. Just be friendly and care about your grades, and her class will be a breeze.

Her feedback is frustratingly vague. Her lectures are very shallow. She will spend a lot of time going over articles and other shallow information but she does not do any teaching that helps you grow as a teacher. Then on assignments she has high expectations. Don't expect any real help or detailed feedback from her.

The most paper I've ever had to use, esp. for an environmental class. Remedial knowledge of many environmental issues. A lot of pointless work for a 100 level, never got into theory or serious discussions. Did a lot of walking around and observing. Boring if you are serious about studying the environment, ethics, and finding solutions to issues.

She was an excellent teacher. I got more out of her class then any other class I have taken at NCC. Her love for social studies really comes through in her teaching. Awesome teacher.

I never liked soc. studies until this class! Her passion for teaching shows in her attitude and professionalism. Some fun assignments, but the end of the quarter can be tough-stay on top of things. Testd are based on class notes, so show up and participate.
